while I agree, I do (personally) see some good stuff (that was criminally underused) silver team was actually cool, and the armor was awesome! (I made Lego versions of riz and vannak) the fight scene in episode 5 of the first season was awesome! ....let's see....*season 2....* ahhh....the flood was alright... could've been better, but, the set up was eerie...hmmm... Voice AI has gotten so good nowadays, atleast with enough training data, that it can sound almost indistinguishly from real actors. Gonna be both crazy and scary going forward

@@ServellionIndeed, and it has already happend in Star Wars, for example James Earl Jones has retired from acting Darth Vader, but he will allow Disney to use AI to recreate his voice(and they already have done it before). Same with Mark Hamill i believe.

Don't forget Chief letting Cortana take over. Then instantly be like yeah we fixed that. I think those two things showed how badly written the show is. Could have milked his coma and had cortana doing stuff for him for two episodes before back peddling on that point.
My head went off the roof when I saw she was still alive. I though killing her character was the least they could’ve done at the end, taking that mistake to the grave but no, they decided to get give Master Cheeks and the alien chick a second round.
I understand now that the Chief has more PTSD watching the show than covenants glassing one world after another, even when he faced the flood. Besides lore accurate chief has a helmet inside a helmet...not a face
THANK YOU for acknowledging Covie girl was a POW for THAT scene. I knew the show's writing was shit from the start, but that scene showed me that the writers might legitimately have brain damage. That whole scene was played off as being romantic, but that was a war crime through and through. It was especially stupid because they were operating under the assumption that she was an enemy agent, but they were treating her as a refugee. So, either Jimmy Rings sexually assaulted an enemy POW that was captive and couldn't offer consent, or he sexually assaulted a refugee who was detained-- someone which he was supposed to be guarding-- so she couldn't offer her consent. Either way they turned him into a rapist. Top-tier writing there. Also, they absolutely ruined Halsey as a character. In the show, she's clearly depicted as a self-serving villain that shows absolutely no remorse for what she did to the Spartans, and she continues to exploit them for her own ends. In the books, she admits that what she did is wrong, but she also claims that there was no other way. She truly believed that it had to happen to save mankind from itself, and so she judged that the ruination of the lives of 75 children was worth saving the lives of potentially billions of others. Was it wrong? Yes. Was it right to preserve mankind by sacrificing only a few children? Also yes. There's an argument to be made for both decisions, which is why it makes book Halsey a far more intriguing character than the show Halsey could ever be.
I like how he tries to remain professional and eloquent, but occasionally slips up and says something like “that Makee bitch died though” But completely gives up after 2 and goes off 😂 love the format, like it’s a press release to quell rumors

The arbiter they were portraying in the paramount series would be the precursor to Thel. Master cheeks is only just now on the ring and the events that transpired on that ring is what leads to him becoming the arbiter
You forgot to mention they killed captain keys to save people who were evacuating reach. When in the game, noble 6 died to save captain keys to flee reach. That is when I stopped watching.
He wasn't even on reach when the covenant attacked he was on the autumn in orbit only Spartans on the planet were sent to defend the super Mac gun generators

@@toringmort4231Those stupid cortana inner dialogue sections were the worst thing about what was otherwise a masterpiece game for its time. The obsession with cortana is what helped kill halo, she should never have been anything more than just a piece of the narration to give us something to think about as we blast covenant and flood with various weapons, slowly revealing a bit of lore and being there to hack open every door that chief should logically not be able to pass by on his own. She was nothing more than a narrative tool to begin with and she should have stayed a narrative tool.
@@Azorees-oj5zr Lol I know. The closest thing in the lore is called a Geas, which deals with neural physics. But the writers of the show didn’t know the lore enough to even mention that. That’s why they have weird Shamans that don’t belong in Halo
Just as a side note. The spartan silver team members actually exist in the original story, they were part of Spartan team omega, however in the story they split the team, and the members of silver team went "MIA", as for the show, they reused those names but I agree, would've been better to bring blue team or instead made a show with all the Spartan omega team back at their prime.
