Holy cow!!! I've been using design space for years and had no clue how to find old fonts!!! I can open more than one screen? Wow!! I'm blown away, thank you!! You made my life easier!
Before moving objects from one mat to another - move them to the location where you want them on the second mat then move them. This prevents stacking on the final mat. For instance if you want to move the blue items to the bottom of the pink mat, before moving relocated the blue items to the bottom on the blue mat then highlight and click move. The blue items will be moved to the bottom of the pink mat instead of to the top of the pink mat. I find it easier to see them instead of having to relocate them when they’re stacked on top of the pink designs.
I loved every single hack because I’m new to the cricut world and I finally have the intel on all the extra buttons I didn’t know how to use yet. My favorite tip was how to cut an image into the shape you need it to be without using the slicing button. That will save me a ton. Second favorite was the color sync. Really good info! Thank you so much! Definitely subscribing
You've just made my CRICUT LIFE so much easier : ). I've been using my cricut for 5 years now, and had no idea I could do a lot of those things. Thank you so much for sharing those amazing tips.
Wowwww what a packed, very informative , great, awesome video best one I’ve seen yet about Cricut Design Space. You pointed out things I never knew were there or how to use them. Greatly appreciate you for sharing this video THANK YOU!!❤❤❤
Such an awesome video! 👏🏾 A wealth of information! I learned a lot today! One hack I discovered when wanting to move a design to a different mat, is to place the design where you want it to be on its original mat. Then click move and it’ll appear on the new mat exactly where you want it to cut! Vs how before it would place the design at the top of the page on top of the original design in that mat!
Thank you!! I have been fiddling with Design Space to make some 1/2" x 1/2" stickers with a Texas flag. The blue always printed very faded. I was ready to re-build my graphic in Photoshop when I found your video. Changing the print setting to photo (my older HP printer calls it "fine") did the trick. I now have 140 small stickers with a blue that is the proper intensity instead of washed out. You have saved me hours of work rebuilding my files to print with intense colours
I have not been able to get a Cricut yet, but I am doing lots of research. You are the best and most thorough yet. Almost too fast, but that's what pause and backing up is for. Thank you, and I have subscribed. Now going to check out the rest of your video's. Have a great day !
I just found you and truly enjoyed this video. It was so helpful. However, I am trying to find something you talked about. It had to do with the fonts and what to do if you choose a font that might be hard to cut. Could you remind me what you said?? (I DID subscribe and clicked the bell! :) )
Hello! I'm so glad you found me here on RU-vid and that my video was helpful for you. Is this the tip you're searching for? How to make fonts thicker? ru-vid.comFLZDG1_yNsI?feature=share
Thank you so much for these tips! I don’t use my cricut often but I just recently went in to make a shirt with multiple colors. When I went in to attach my design, my entire design changed to one color. That was not always the case. Any idea as to when this changed?
@@Savedbygrace04 I think on my computer if I attach print then cut images it doesn't change the color but if I attach cut images it makes them all the same.
Thank you for sharing. My design space does not show three lines next to 'canvas' icon on the tool bar. Instead it shows 'home' icon and I cannot access other features (under those 'three lines') such as 'calibration' because of this settings. What may be the problem?
Cricut Design Space did an update shortly after I made this video (so annoying!). When you're on the canvas look in the upper right side. You'll see 3 dots that will bring you to File>New Window or View>Reload. If you click the down arrow next to your name and then click settings you'll find all the other things you're looking for. Click the machine tab to find calibration. Click the canvas tab to adjust the gridlines. Hope that helps!
? Can you still use the cricket to make stickers? That’s why I bought it but I haven’t figured it out. I seen tips and tricks how to but I don’t know if they changed it or what will be upset if they did oh well
I have been hearing chatter about how to upload more than one SVG at a time, but I can't seem to figure it out. Do you have any information about this? Possibly a RU-vid video? Thank you so much! Cindy
Do you happen to know why my design space looks nothing like this on my computer? I JUST downloaded it 2 days ago, so it should be the current version?
One helpful but equally frustrating thing about Design Space is that they're ALWAYS doing updates. I spent days making this Design Space tutorial and then the next day they did an update and everything changed. Most of those buttons you're looking for are now in the top right corner. You'll see 3 dots > File > New Window and View > Reload. If you click on your name you'll find the settings tab. This is where you can adjust your canvas. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
