Love the layers of hedges in front , with the mature trees. I love shade so this is so beautiful to me. I would love to learn succession planting for color throughout the year. That red oak tree is pure magic. I could build a home and garden just around that tree! I agree this is one of the best garden tours ever! The many gorgeous roof lines in white, against all those green trees is stunning! All the seating areas, the knot gardens, the potted plants... just stunning! Thank you so much Mr McCabe.

IMHO you need to walk while taking the video and show the things he is talking about, instead of just watching you standing on one place and hear him talking about the rest of the garden, the video needs a better structure, just found your channel and the places you have shown us are just beautiful, the sound is a little off sometimes, just keep working on structure and sound also on editing. Beautiful channel, beautiful places, can’t wait to see the next garden tour!

Such a beautiful house and delightful gardens. I adore spaces outside that are like little rooms. Which you find as you wander around the garden. The ‘stone mushrooms’ are called ‘Staddle Stones’ and were used to raise grain stores and larders off the ground to prevent vermin and water damage. I have one in here in my garden which was a wedding gift and has a brass sun dial on the top. Sheena (uk) xx

Beautiful and well maintained garden. My favorite rose is Climbing Pinkie for a trellis. It's a repeat bloomer that puts on a show from Spring-early December. They're especially beautiful if you train them to grow horizontally. And Blush Drift Roses, also a repeat bloomer, to create a large area of ground cover. I have a fern that my grandfather planted in the 80's and it's still going strong. I put them in the garage to winter also and do have to split it every 3 years or so but that just means more ferns!

Peggy Martin Roses are referred to as Katrina Roses in MS. They survived Hurricane Katrina. Mine is blooming for the second time, Spring and now Summer.

I agree the camera person was terrible. While he was describing a plant the camera person was showing the 3 of you! Did not see the Incredible Hydrangeas or the grain bins.

@@PP-hs3ep it wasn’t actually the camera person. It was the editor which is me. Honestly it takes hours to edit and sometimes I miss details matching the broll (shots you overlay) with the interview portion. We’re just a small team with a small budget. I appreciate feedback and will continue to improve.

Hey! With all the rain we had in the spring we had to take FOUR MONTHS off because contractors kept getting stuck in the dirt road. Believe it or not we never had seven dry days until recently when they put in the road so now we’re back to work! We’ll share an update soon. It’s going to be amazing!

Shelby & and Michelle, may I give you some advice? Hire a stylist to help you buy your clothes and pick what to wear for r videos. Also, to do your hair and makeup. I know you say that you are just ordinary moms doing life, but you really are putting yourself out there for a lot of women who look up to you all and who need some inspiration to do life better. You teach women how to decorate their homes and entertain why not teach them to look and dress better also. Michelle lose the white boots and Shelby, your outfit just looks like you are going to clean the chicken coop. I am sorry just being completely honest. I love you both but it needed to be said. That is what friends do for each other.

Who is your camera person? Why aren't you showing us what they are talking about?? They are standing pointing at plants and we never see what they are looking at. Example: at 42:00 they are looking to the left and talking about "the crepe myrtles" and we never SEE the crepe myrtles. This happened several times through out the tour. Please focus on what the subject is.

@@smitchell1002 honestly I appreciate the feedback and I will try to be better about getting exact footage. We’re a small team and only have two hours and a very small budget to achieve these. I would love to be as big as HGTV but we’re slowly growing and building this little media brand.

Lower you voice. Your voice is to high pitched. It is not a comfortable sound.

The editing of this video is so irritating. Within the first few moments he’s talking about the hydrangeas and you keep showing in front of the house from a distance. Connect your material that you’re talking about with the gardens or the item that you’re going to be showing. This is horrible and I was excited to see what was going to happen but it’s not connected properly and it’s really disappointing. I am thinking a new camera person with a better vision but also somebody that really knows how to edit a video it’s gonna be necessary to keep your channel going because you’re gonna lose yours. It’s poorly presented.
