I don't think people should really complain about the posability of this particular kit. He's a walking weapons platform. He arrives at his target locaion, plants his feet, opens his hatches and levels everything in front of him. This is probably my 2nd favorite of the Wing MG's, right after Deathscythe Hell.
I just ordered this kit yesterday as well as wing zero pg, so I'll be getting it in a couple weeks, though the only parts I'll be doing are the missile pods and bulkheads on the body, and maybe the barrel pipes on the minigun, but I personally don't see white hinges on the leg guns an issue, I'm gonna be painting it all metallic silver
@MrSubstitude1 I dont have the Duel Gundam but I have seen photos of the MG age 1 normal and it has a full inner frame and the extenal armor is complete, the are not using less parts but the are getting new types of engeneering, as a result making smaller parts and a more detail kit
what kind of joint connects the gatling gun barrels to the body of the gun? i was really hoping that the barrels would be connected by a ball joint or a peg so it could at least rotate.
I messed up the topcoat on this MG, and I've been told either to sand the topcoat off, or soak the parts in 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Is there any risks I need to worry about for either method? Also, would the isopropyl ruin the stickers on the head?
@suiton629 Well, model kits aren't action figures so don't expect them to be perfect.Plus, bandai being bandai don't expect them to release a new MG Wing EW with a new inner frame.
im also not going to get this guy at all. as i said before i will be getting the upgraded suits only because i dont want to buy the "same "models twice. ive done that with the wing EW and that just left me really disappointed because i didnt know that it is mostly the same as the old wing zero EW :P good thing all the GAT series gundams are coming, they will bridge the gap very nicely! will you be getting those? like the duel that was released this month? i can highly recommend it, its awesome!
Its a shame this doesn't follow the heavy arms towards the end of the TV series. It should of come with the twin shortened gatling not the gatling with a belt. Other than that it's a nice looking suit. Just a shame it never made an appearance on TV or in the film as it is.
Tanner Bleakley Rotate the the hip joint slightly on the leg before attempting to insert into the waist. Should hear a click when it's installed all the way.
I have a question if u still read these. I finished my heavyarms recently but am having some issues with the ammo chain. The pieces that fit over the ends of the wire do not hold the wire in very well and the wire keeps slipping out and the whole chain wont stay inside the slots on the gun and the ammo drum very well. Do you have any suggestions?
How many different models of this was made because I’ve been on the Internet and seen several different I would like to get a exact number if you know it
its a shame that they cheaped out on this guy so much. no sabre blades for a friggin MG? really bandai? i know that they like to do that with HGs but in this case its just retarded. its also pretty sad that you have to paint it so much. they could easily have thrown in an extra grey plate. it seems to be easy to paint but but this is a 2012 MG and not a 1/100 no grade so its ok to expect at least all colors to be molded. personally im glad that i got the MG duel instead^^ but still, nice review!
Isn't just standing there and shooting hundreds of missiles from your body at enemy mobile suits very dangerous?? Because someone could easily just fire machine gun rounds in heavy arms' general direction and blow up most of the missiles right in its face as soon as they come out. All it takes is for one missile to get hit with machine gun fire and it will blow up and set off a chain reaction that blows up most of the other missiles that come out before they even get that far from heavy arms.
