The XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms (aka Heavyarms or Gundam Zero-Three) is a mobile suit from the series Mobile Suit Gundam WIng. It was the third of Operation Meteor's five Gundams, and was piloted by a young man operating under the pseudonym Trowa Barton.

I do wish the gatling gun actually slid onto the arm instead of being held though I understand why it is that way since it's based more on the Endless Waltz version, then painted in its TV colors

I just got one today and I'm planning on painting it a red white and blue and doing a full custom with more guns making it the heavy arms Texas edition 😂 or as my friend called it the heavy arms yee yee custom

It worries me though with all that Artillery on him, despite the gundarium alloy they're made with, couldn't a strong enough bean shot trigger a all out explosion? Just a thought. Ill love feedback from who ever reads this

This is a good point, never thought of it that way. This is may be partially why he jettisons all his artillery at once upon his target.

Yes, he's a walking firework stall. If you light him on fire, he'll explode. That's his main weakness. Suprised Trowa/Triton didn't get blown up yet. Guess he's heavily armed with plot armor.

It's somewhat impractical, a well placed shot would probably set off a explosion however in the show when it does shoot it's a fast action probably not likely a enemy would be able to take a shot

And that is why he unloads everything in one volley to avoid the issue. Blowing his load to early is better to avoid self destruction

This version of beam gatling gun looks fucking awesome, not as awesome as the quad minigun, but clearly ppl who don’t like it don’t know the movie Aliens and the glorious Smart Gun.

building this right now and the chest piece on mine doesnt close all the way at the bottom as well. i wonder if its all like this? i actually caught this early on when i was starting the arms(so i only had built the chest and head so far). i went backwards and took everything apart then put it back together again(with no luck obviously)the bottom still opens a bit.

@@jimbok21 nope, oddly one side on the botton never closed all of the way. it's barely noticeable when everything is done and put together. the funny thing is, i just finished the 3rd party supernova version and it has the same problem lolll. which is odd because i've built 40+ kits and these two only have that problem. iirc some people on youtube/reddit had that problem as well when i googled it. but anyway, thanks for asking!

@@kidrobot. that's a shame but at least it's not that noticable. I just got this gundam as well as rx-78-02 the origin MG. It's my first time building gunpla. I'm going to build the heavy arms first. Any tips that might help?

@@jimbok21 i'm no expert so i don't think i'm qualified to give you tips lol. but i will say(and this may be stating the obvious) follow the directions step-by-step. line up the part orientation according to the manual before you snap them together. work in a well lit environment. and organize your runners/tools etc. so it's easier to find.

Can it hold the gatling aiming up without support from the right arm without sagging?

It could but I think the arm will sag eventually Too long and too heavy You’d have to glue the joints

Just add some putty or glue to the joints to tighten them.

I use tamiya ultra thin cement to rub multiple coats and then pop the part back in when dry, it also adds tightness to the joints

Its fascinating to me how the legs are so long and such a small torso much like barbie. I guess a study group decides this looks better. idk. love gundam though

They wouldn't. This suit was designed by Katoki. It wouldn't make sense if he redesigned it, even when he decided "yeah, this is a good look. No takebacks!"
