and for those that didnt read the manga the fluegel is a space combat upgrade for tall geese and after the wing photo zero was damaged in a failed attempt to self detonate Howard who had upgraded the tall geese at qautra's request repaired the wing zero with the fluegel's wings resulting in the wing zero custom we all know
I built this earlier this year and have it up on an Action Base 1 with the adaptor that was provided out of the box with no real issues at all. Maybe its sour luck on your end. But so far so good all loaded out.
Just built this after it being in the backlog for months. But yeah, the action base adapter is trash. I'm using it with the action base 3 and it's been a struggle to pose it alongside the Wing EW ver ka.
A Tallgeese with Wing Zero Ver Ka Wings… Shut up and take my money!!! Zechs Merquise would totally put this kit on an action base without fear. That’s how the Lightning Count rolls. ;)
something I did on the regular MG goose is cut a piece of a runner tag and stuck it in a space in the back of the waist, slotted it in there with a shape like /\. It doesn't fully stop it from leaning back but it should keep it waist from popping off. maybe try that here but yeah might still be too heavy.
Very interesting review. Liked the look, it is interesting overall, but this doesn't look like a MG that I personally would enjoy building. That is OK, I am very happy I got to look at a halberd-wielding Talgeese.
Would thickening up the waist ball joint help support it? Love this design. Think it's the best GoL retcon after the Heavyarms Igel equipment. It looks cool and gives Tallgeese a visual upgrade for it's space refit AND an origin for the Wing Zero EW's wings.
The loose parts are an issue with the mold degrading, which wouldn't happen if they'd either replace it or make kits for something they haven't already produced a million times
If you put it on a stand just tighten up the upper ball joint for the waist by applying some superglue, and the kit will be just fine. I have had my kit on a stand from day one since I built it and have had no problems with, and I've had it done over a month and the kit has not moved. But I'm also someone who when they build a kit gets it in the pose I want and then leave it alone. So, this may not work if you change your suits pose often.
I got furious when the Flugel got sold out twice and was too poor for the third run so I just took a mangled MG Tallgeese 3 I had, worked a MG Destiny's wings onto it, gave it a tail from it's heat whip and painted it to look like the Cleanrot Knights from Elden Ring
eh, my tallgese had its waist snap so i see it as a suitable replacement. big fan of the tallgese design wise (easily in my top 5) just wish they would redo the midsection.
