Just stumbled upon your channel. I like it so far! I really like my Lawman, but more often than not, if I'm grabbing a Cold Steel, I end up grabbing one of my Recon 1's. Regardless of which one I grab for the day, I do love my Cold Steel knives.
Have carried the American Lawman for years now. It's a one & done purchase. It'll eat ANYTHING you throw at it & keep going. I don't even own another carry knife because I don't need to waste the money having it sit there doing nothing. Bought mine when they were around $60.
@@crazyone5409 It's a great knife. I've carried this knife on me daily for years now. There's some good reviews out there on this & they all are positive. Cold Steel hit a home run with this blade.
For those of you wondering, I bought the new American Lawman in seven steel. The handle is significantly thinner than the aus8 handle. I prefer the aus8 handle over the new one. You can swap the blades between the 2 & they are interchangable 100%. So I'm rocking the awesome seven steel with the older aus8 g10 handle. It feels 100% better & less cheap.
I really like mine. The action has smoothed up very nicely over the years. I did strip the DLC coating because mine started peeling off with even moderate use.
The tight pocket clip is nice for back pocket carry. With a softer clip, the knife can start to slide out from rubbing against car seats and other things. For a work knife, I like tight.
I was looking for a good quiality affordable knife that does everything. Feeling good about my purchase after watching this. Im new to buying knives. I bought the esee 3 for camping chores and more rugged uses. This lawman will always be in my pocket.
So your saying it’s the cold steel’s “Jack of All Trades” knife? Like Timbo, I find myself grabbing my code 4 or mini recon 1 first over all knives…. Sometimes my AD10 or 4max scout too..lol
