I love how when the video is going to be online for the world to see, they don't snowboard with their samurai swords, yet we all know that normally they do.
All you need is there to be goblins, and then you really could be killing goblins with your snowboard every time you go out riding it. Either an ollie, 180º toeside-switch to fakie or an ollie heelside-switch to fakie should behead a goblin of the right height. It doesn’t have to be anything more fancy than that. Only little more than your basic ollie. Switches while buttering on the nose or tail will also get ‘em. But of course, that may hit ‘em differently than a decapitating wound. Also, if your board is enchanted to protect against magic, doing a tail stick provides a shield-like surface to reflect fireballs and other evil spells back at a wizard. It all might explain why there are so many tips out there to help you ride switch.
All I’m saying is, there are plenty of people who have gotten very into snowboarding, and, they know why they did it. For some reason, there’s something just really attractive to people about using the perfectly deadly size and shape of a snowboard instead of just skiing, and, it’s getting more and more popular. You don’t have to be killing goblins, and, something like that probably doesn’t exist, but if it did, there’s no reason why the only people not killing them would have to be snowboarders. It might be, like, that snowboards were good for killing them. And it might be that the goblins are on mountains, and that you need shitloads of snowboarders to kill them all. It might be that getting them with ski poles just wasn’t working well enough. And it might not even be that, you shouldn’t kill goblins, just to be tolerant of something different than you or something. They might be wretched.
How could they be trained, if they are among the best? :P This doesn't take training. The big trick guys all have teams to help build their jumps and do all kinds of things, but for flatland you don't need that, just go to a park, spend lots of time trying what these guys do, get amazing, and eventually do stuff they haven't done. You can do eeet!!!
There’s just a little more reason to do an ollie, and to keep going to fakie and back again than just to say that you did something stupid on a snowboard. . . maybe. . . And terrain parks. . . What if goblins like to hang out there because they think it resembles their natural habitat or something. . . Then those places are perfect to lure goblins. . . I’m not saying that you should go killing goblins, if there were such a thing as that. I’m just saying that if snowboarding were invented to do that, there might be a lot of people who would want to pitch in, and then therefore the sport of snowboarding as we know it, with its entire array of techniques, would have developed, and it would be as popular to get involved in as it is.
If these guys are such good snowboarders, why do they keep spinning around? I'd bet there are so many people who can go in a straight line on their very first day snowboarding, and who can keep both ends of the snowboard on the ground, too.
