Could be louder to sound more like James, but their own take on the song is great too. And I also understand the difficulty of singing like James Hetfield because he has a massive vocal range and can sound gritty while shouting. May be a bit too much on a female voice box, but they managed to make the other instruments match the tone. Completely different song, same lyrics and melody.

I am a METALLICA fan. I am 55 and saw the whole evolution of the band real time. And I have to say, as your version opened I listened.. and all the hairs on my arms and neck stood on end.. SHOCKING. LILIAC is the REAL DEAL. and you all are so YOUNG.. so polished and SKILLED in your craft. GOOSEBUMPS DONT LIE! 🤣🤣 THE LEAD VOCALS ARE LIKE NO ONE ELSE! even though a cover, it stands on its own as yours. LILIAC'S fingerprint really does make you RETHINK what you know about this song! The brilliant lyrics show differently.. I would say better articulated actually. The lyrics being a bit clearer will allow new listeners to share in the brilliance of this piece... it's been a long time since I was truly impressed by a cover. Master of Puppets is a big one to take on, it takes a lot of BALLS to do it which shows guts 😉!!! Ambitious for SURE , but in this old rocker chick's opinion, this version KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK. I feel HONORED to hear this, and CERTAIN this is the TIP of the ICEBERG that LILIAC is destined to be. But the VOCALS tho!! My heart SWOONS! ❤

Up until now the covers were a fit for Liliac. With all the original music out there from Liliac, they are now themselves and distinctively Liliac. Add to that the Fans challenged them to this cover. This is the first true Fusion cover not just a freshening or an embellishment. Liliac and MOP collided and for me that is awesome. I don’t think there is any going back. 🤘🤘🤘🤘RORH

First off, Ive never came across such an inspiration young talented group that has such originality in their musical art to make this band. Read and seen where they've came from and in total awe how you have became. "Nothing" is a total stand out of your mastery of what you have progressed to & love the song even if the neighbours dont!. But I don't if this is just me...or an old fart with moral sets within myself thats making send you this...its just that I feel with this song and "Symphony of Destruction" had a great chance of showing in video clip what these songs are actually about...even in a small way..because even as far back as they were origanally written...the message still applies today!.The songs were both played unbelievably out of this world and so refreshing to hear you sing them....I dunno....just feel an such a huge opportunity of message lost. One of my favourite songs.... and you managed to turn it into your own masterclass. I can't decide which version I prefer - my biggest compliment to a cover version.
