Gun powder is not available to most civs before age 4. so having cannons is dumber

​@@jdurnal What makes you think I am offended lol. Just having a discussion Springalds that shoot large bolts, although a rare weapon mounted on ships, are not very rare for the middle ages. Cannons were mounted on ships only towards the last century of what is considered middle ages. Accordingly, the game also has cannon mounted ships in the last age as carracks. Also, they follow the rock paper scissor type engagements like the land units with gunpowder units being better and generally good against every other unit

@@zak2005 Its just an opinion, I think ship battles in aoe4 are super boring and unrealistic.
