@@Sasatern try playing it, its more challenging and rewarding than watching some pro waltz through what are otherwise difficult puzzles/movements/fights
I actually find this hack more impressive than The Missing Link. It's a complete Zelda game with a full soundtrack with references to a ton of obscure source material. I was fully engaged in ZFG's entire playthrough. The ending could have been better, sure, but the entire rest of the game was very well done and had a lot of attention to detail.
I think the same. Not saying the others are bad, but this one felt like a true zelda adventure, not a tech demo. And the little details about the lore of the world are well done.
Endings were massive unfinished trash, mate. And the game was still very limited. No dungeons bosses, no new items, no new enemies. I know is hard to code those in a rom, but if someone did for Missing Link, he could have too. Still, I hope the decompilation project for the source code is finished soon. This type of mods would be massivly improved if they weren't so restricted by the lack of source code
@@matthewgraham790 Ocarina of Time was the peak of Zelda games, Majora's Mask is the better game thanks to the transformation masks but suffers from the rushed development as there is too many sidequests and only 4 dungeons, but Majora is OoT 2.0 Nintendo really took 2 steps back with every future Zelda, Goron Rolling and Zora Swimming are superior methods of travelling, the hookshot is much better than the Clawshot, the fact Ocarina and Majora were naturally dark and ominous without being edgy like Twilight, the magic meter and the elmental arrows, the Bombchus, and the Giant Two Handed Blade Its up to the fanbase this game is SUCH a step in the right direction, when the games are fully reverse engineered I want to see a game with Adult Link plus the Goron and Zora masks, and make a true sequel to Majora
Watched the hack at ZFG's stream. Awesome work! Easily the best OOT romhack out there by a long mile. The vocal minority complaining about the graphics or other details doesn't realize just how much work went into all of it, and in the end they're enjoying the game just as much. I really appreciated the whole package and its unique atmosphere.
57:24 Rage Against The Machine - Bombtrack / Moblin's Lair More like Rage Against The Moblins - Freakin Banger Song But seriously this was a long awaited play and this track being better than the original song is just pure hype for a game that manages to outdo the original games Adult Link Journey
I've probably already commented something to this effect at one point or another, but this is genuinely one of the most impressive non-original soundtracks I've ever come across. Taking such a diverse and eclectic collection of songs from so many different genres, time periods and parts of the world, and managing to arrange them in a way that fits a Zelda hack this seamlessly is truly some masterful work on Don Camilo's part. Where but Master of Time would you ever find Malmsteen, "La Migra", RATM, Jo Yeong Wook, and Brinstar's Theme in the same place and blended together so fittingly? MoT is still my favorite romhack ever (of any game)... playing it for the first time brought back the exact same feeling of wonder and magic that I felt when experiencing the original OoT as an eight-year-old child. No other game has ever provoked a visceral reaction like that as an adult. I still go back and replay it once or twice a year. Absolutely brilliant stuff on every level. Still hoping we get a definitive, Don Camilo-endorsed "remaster" of the hack with better dialogue translations and some QoL updates.
I've been recently playing this over the past week and I must say the amount of effort, planning and creativity that seems to have gone into making this is amazing. It really is like playing Ocarina Of Time part 2. OOT is my favourite game of all time and being the massive Zelda fan that I am, I cannot stress how much I appreciate you creating this. The soundtrack also fits really well and gives out that classic RPG/Zelda like feeling. Kudus to you Don! :D
This was legit an impressive game. Should be on top with all the good romhacks that came out. Even the unfinished demo, with the "alcoholic link", was a fine piece of work. With that said, i wonder how hard it would be to convert ocarina and maybe majora 3d maps to the 64 roms. I know some downgrade would be needed, lowering the poly count and all that, but to have the 3ds version of the maps playable in the 64 engine is my dream mod.
Same, I'm actually playing it on my phone too. Really fun and overall cool. Still very fresh because, if I'm honest, I didn't really pay too too much attention to what was happening haha

Thank you for making this ROM! The dungeons were challenging, versatile and loaded with amazing music reversed well to a Zelda game! Cheers from Finland. :)~
Loved the game and the soundtrack, looking forward to an expansion in the future 🙏 I can tell you put a lot of effort and love into it and it seems so close to truly finished!
@@zoeycarey6963 his name is Patrick Balkany, some politician or something from I think France. The picture of the man is him, and you can find the in-game version of him (it's a deadhand though)
You did a really good job with the music, all of them are very enjoyable to hear and go well with the places where they play, i really liked the atmosphere of the game
Master of time was a whole new experience tbh it felt like I was playing a different game entirely instead of just playing ocarina of time with a few modifications
So a random thing I found playing around with Gameshark while working on bonus footage for a Let’s Play of this hack was that the Light Medallion slot was replaced with an ‘Iron Medallion’. Was this the original idea for what the Path of Gods medallion would’ve been? I also saw your comment saying you might work on this again at some point, and I just want to say I do hope you do. This is a damn impressive hack, even if the endings are a bit of a letdown.
I enjoyed Sagnol Village, Patrick's Manor, Light Temple, Goron Cave and Lozan Jail themes the most :'D The last one reminded me something that would come out from Banjo Kazooie or DK64
I'm alone to hear desert temple from between world zelda in death temple ost ? I read is a wario ware theme but it fit so well to a desert temple on zelda
Hello I return on this video to listen again it ost I always see all your wonderful romhack it my favorite romhack Zelda i watch it with zfg1 and i want to rewatch again right now I love some ost Like moblin lair the area and ost or the dungeon and the lore the layout of dungeon music etc so magic A big thanks you i love your work :) you the best hope you doing well
@@doncamilo5433 also i wondering how do you know about Patrick Balkany ? As french i know him but the fact people not french know him feel strange for me
Do you think you would ever reach out to other modders to help you properly finish this amazing mod? I really think some would actually help you if you asked because you did such a great job!
So far, it is finished. He responded to another comment asking if he would make another zelda hack, and said that he probably would update master of time. If he does get to work on it or not, i'm personally glad for what he already gave us. 2 demos and a full game, all with many differences. That's alot of content.
Bro nice rom hack, but I stuck in death temple, where I suppose to get the ice medallion, when I enter the teleporter. The screen gets white, after I enter. I am playing on android with Mupen64fz. Please help!
Was playing this game, but for some reason, I cannot complete... Playing on my phone, an Asus Zenphone 6, but whenever get to the end of Death, Light and Water Temple, when it is to get the medallion of those, the screen goes all white.
bro others are playing the sealed palace on there everdrives and emulator help me please i patch it it doesnt work unless i change the patches bsp isp asp itll get green checksum but i turn my n64 on it loads when i pick the patched rom its z64 big indian but it shows the loading then pop noise then just black screen done with master of time now i must play this!!!
Such a good Romhack... Bit unpolished, but very good. But dude... wtf is this ending?!? So much potential wasted with the whole zora plot. Most disappointing moment in a long time :/
