I’m pretty sure somebody already made this joke in his old video about this. Come to think of it, I think this joke has been repeated on every one of his embarrassing stories videos.
Imagine seeing a 19 year old bragging about his virginity in an Irish accent at at party, only to find out that guy would be the most iconic actors of all times and main character in the hunger games.
I see him being that person that is reminded of an embarrassing moment by an asshole to "humiliate" him but then Charlie would proudly tell people more about that moment himself

I do think the stigma against virginity in males is a genuine problem though, as someone who does not like the idea of anything sexual I'm pretty thankful that since I'm a girl no one will really be mean to me about it Like if a girl said she was a virgin and a guy responded with "Oh thats sad, if u want I'll eat you out" that would be considered harassment lmao

Idk what brought you from this previous person to who you are now.. but it's a story I would love to hear! Your self awareness and honesty is incredible. To acknowledge that person and not to hide them, but use them as an outline to help others not make the same mistakes is so healthy and refreshing.

Omg, the sniper bit had me in tears. I too have some mega embarrassing moments from my teens, and really admire Charlie's bravery. It doesn't make me think any less of him, because you can tell how far removed he is from his old self.
This is so bizarre to me because I belonged to a Christian club in college and no one was even allowed to think about sex or masturbation until marriage. As someone who leans towards asexuality, I don’t think it’s shameful or weird at all to be celibate as long as you’re fine with it. It seems like Charlie was fine with it, so…I dunno…I wouldn’t have cared. He avoided a lot of STDs, that’s for sure!

My now girlfriend asked me if I wanted to go to "The Bed" with her, at the begining of our relationship. The gears in my head grinded hard for like solid 20 seconds. Turned out, the restaurant was called "The Bed". My face expression must have been priceless then.
The thing is, whether it was a restaurant or not, that such a weird terminology to use when referring to sex. It's almost like something you would expect from a foreign exchange student that's still learning how to speak English.

In my country, Indonesia, virginity is a holy thing that is required of both men and women before their wedding. They can only lose virginity to their wife/husband, and if they aren't a virgin before they get married then they are going to be shamed by mostly everyone except for some cases like rape or remarry. The logic is that non-virgin are viewed as loose and prone to cheating so if they aren't a virgin before they get married then there is a high chance that they will cheat while they are married. So it's the reverse here, virginity is actually praised and expected of you while non-virgin usually need to keep it a secret in order to blend into society.
@@Dislob Late reply but couples and casual relationships still exists here. But they can't have sex, even kissing (in the lips) is considered going too far by some people so couples here usually only going as far as kissing (most on cheeks, some on lips) or hugging (mostly for highschool couples)

Being a virgin doesn't mean that you're a loser in life and being a non-virgin doesn't mean that you're a winner in life. There are many people in my country who is successful and is virgin until they get married, so the whole concept of "Haha virgin bad, non-virgin good" is just foreign to me
