Super Video Jeff. It's not uncommon to get a bit of mold material stuck to the casting (maybe not quite enough mold release agent in that area). He is most likely using some type of high quality silicone for his molds. Silicone molds can be fragile and prone to tear during the de-molding process. Because of this, silicone molds have a limited life expectancy. Jim's molds are extremely well designed and crafted, and that equals a great casting and long mold life. I have cast 1/24 scale resin slot car bodies and still do from time to time. But with the availability of such high quality castings today, I can normally find what I want on line. Have fun Jeff
