They created Master Emblems so they can SELL Master Emblems just like Ascension tokens and more. Hence anyone with money will stuff older players into their coffins and close the lid laughing. Plus note how they are lowering the cost of some existing levels but are we going to be refunded for anything spend in the past? NOPE! As you said a swift kick in the nuts! And the ONLY WAY this will work to get less-used heros used if Master Talents only apply to specific characters (like costumes). If I can take some Legendary Owl character and master level them, the ENTIRE concept is dead and this whole thing becomes and utter lie.
I'm a f2p and will continue to be. This is just another example of why I will never spend money on any of these game. All my hard work as a f2p and I would be so ticked if I spent money when they do this crap to try to keep milking money from the spenders. Unless one is trying to keep up with the jones, whats the point. Ive built up a fun f2p roster. Thanks again for the great video as always.
I agree with the errors you pointed out with how they are ripping us off of emblems on the reset. I would like it to be available for classic/season 1, 2, and maybe 3, possibly the event heroes in the same time frames like the festival heroes.
Good shout 👍 it certainly shouldn't be a blanket update if they are trying to sell it to us as a way to beef up old heroes. It's just daylight robbery with a bright Luminous Bow on it.
I couldn't agree more. This does not make things even, it makes the heroes that are already too strong even stronger!! I'm not paying a dime for this master class bs. If I can't get it in game i shall not have it.
The reduction in returned emblems after the update is BS, they should automatically instigate an algorithm that returns emblems to us based on the change. Instead of basically stealing the emblems from us.
Absolutely! That would be the fair thing to do. Is it gonna happens? Most likely not. So now is the time to use those reset tokens to recover those emblems in preparation for the update. That is if you didn’t use golden emblems for the high cost nodes.
This is the very least they should do. Also an apology for lying to our faces would be nice. How they can say this is an effort to make old favourites viable again with a straight face is beyond me #facepalm
@@McNaultyYT this is another nerf. The nerf of the golden emblems and tomes (would those be easier and cheaper to acquire? We’ll see). They nerfed ascension tomes sometime ago. Now is the turn of golden emblems. I will reserve them for the last node from now on.

SOOOOOOO....I really happy I decided to take the time to watch the video before doing what I was originally planning to do. I saw the release notes and was originally just going to do a full reset of my hereos, get more emblems to help those in missing some from and call it a day. I did NOT think about the Golden emblems and how I would not be getting those back so now I'm limiting those I reset to only the ones I've used only emblems on. It's another money making ploy by E&P. I'm not happy about it but we knew it was coming since the release of limit break because they are going to find ways to make more money with minimal effort. Once Starlass releases, I will be taking a spending hiatus. I have tons of hereos I need to level and concentrate on and the joy is quickly being replaced by embarrassment and disdain for the game. I've been playing for years, have always enjoyed the PVP aspect, but enough is enough. Thanks bud. I know you do alot for this game by taking time away from your family to give back to us with these updates, grading, and tier lists. I, at least, appreciate that.

Where does it stop ✋️ for me I am not exited to pay for Mats that will make my old heroes stronger. I'm sorry but No 👎 I do really value the community highly and thanks for the kind words, this will work if we are all behind it but if not at least I won't be funding a company that lies to its consumers faces. Well said, but in my experience developer's don't care about complaints, boycotts or anything players inject. Been through this across a few games, it's the corporate culture.
If everyone cuts the supply of money for the game owners as a United Front,this is how you hurt them. But we need to hold our position and not deviate from a hard-core stance. If we already think we will lose without even trying, then that's a losing mindest. I, for one, am willing to give you my ground period.
I have been playing a very similar game albeit a bit newer and very recently the devs nerfed a hero. The community and content creators rallied and stopped pulling and the devs apologised to all players did their best to compensate players who had been affected and said they would have a mire open dialogue going forward. Granted this was the first I have experienced this and I know Zynga have a reputation for being cold 🥶 and I get the corporate way comment but and it's a Big BUT I think we do underestimate our power as players (consumers) this channel alone gets around 50 000 views per month it's now 9.30 where I live and by the time it gets to midnight about 1000 of our fellow players will have seen this. We can spark the change we want to see ;?)
My opinion is make dragon spire heros stuck in dragon spire and strong hold heros stuck in string hold . Make a 3erd tab for crossover . It's all optional I don't have to click on the tabs . But if one even just one dragon spire hero can cometh normal wars we are stuck have to do the new content. The e syar dragon spire are 2.5 times better then a current 5 star . A 5 star dragon spire is atleast 6 times better . Second thought is if they let them in ill have to save new emblems for a new dragon ... 3erd tab could be raids wars mixed anything gose . 2end tab is dragonspire only heros universe . Has wars and raids and all the new content no current heros allowed .
without exception all the experienced players stopped spending money and they are complaining about the evolution path of the game. This is path of the "dark side of the marketing and money digging" smoothly saying.. I m sick and tired to be milked like a cow . and I m sure SG is aware of those complains but money is too sweet and there is too many new players perhaps a new generation who used to those attitude to this strategy . this new Master Talent thing and legend troops and all other new thing they are about to push toward us is a money pit and may be its time to find something (a game) more traditional and a classical way to win with your strategy with your talent and specially with your effort and time that invested not with your wallet. I agree with you, this just feels like another money grab. I have already contacted support and asked them to block my purchases so I won't be spending anymore. Enough is enough, like you said time to vote with your wallet! I'll still play but I feel I am sun setting on this game, as a day 1 it's been a good enough ride. Great points as alway Mcn!

There will come a time where even the whales realise that they are just being made to chase their own tails. You hit the nail on the head. E&P has become a pay to win game. I’m coming up on 6 years with the game and it has taken such a drastic turn towards money in the last 2 years. I only get the passes now because of it all.
Between this and the ridiculous number of portals, I’ve gone to PoV + both VIP only- so like a $20 monthly game subscription- not even buying cheap gem offers or summon token deals . I’ll do that until it I no longer enjoy the game - been playing since 2018

IMO we should boycott.this change. It’s just another ploy for SG to make more money. They will not return materials 1:1. Also if they want to rebalance the older heroes they could easily change the stats of the hero. This is a bogus example of pure greed by SG.
Did you see the new phoenix offer with Master emblems for sale already? That didn't take long! If you wanted to make old heroes relevant buff their stats but the truth is they don't want you to be okay without paying. They're fine knowing that the only way you can keep up is continue to spend so they want the old heroes to be unusable
Already some heroes cannot be defeated even with same color in team so with this will be impossible to do nothing tooooo much power I hope someone press delete button and destroy this game completely
It’s a sign for me to stop spending. I know I’ll be left in the dust by big spenders but I just don’t care anymore. The gap between free to play and pay to play is growing and growing.
I think its dumb. All its going to do is make the OP heroes even more OP. Its just another money grab for them.... It would be semi fair if players could NOT BUY THEM and the ONLY way you could get them was from earning them playing quests and such. You already know the top players are going to spend $10,000 to max all of their heroes with these instantly and that is a huge problem! I think master talents would have been a great idea, if it was for only older heroes or only classic heroes. The newer ones do not need a stat boost lmao Also, i think you are 100% correct in the fact that they should be giving us back the difference of every single emblem that we have spent. I literally just maxed a couple heroes and did all 20 nodes without golden emblems because i didnt have any....now i lose those????? Why??????

Hi VT. My thoughts are that we shouldn't have to. They have forced our hand so what kind of a QOL update is that?! But that said it would make sense to reset even though u may loose a TON of Ham and Iron and u will use up ur stockpile of reset emblems. It's a lose lose I'm afraid.
Not everyone has the will power to stick to their guns when it comes to stop spending, myself included, that said, I had to use the in game support to request a block on purchases. Not a penny spent in 3 weeks. Thanks to youtuber dansing007 for sharing that , i had no idea you could ask sg to block purchases and im sure 99.9% of players like myself don't know either.

Great video and your points about the game are spot on. I too have been in this game almost from the beginning and moves like just infuriate me. I was OK when they added emblems. Was totally against the first limit break and was down beside myself with anger after the second limit break. However I'm still here but I have a feeling this may be the end for me. I mean when is this nonsense of creating more ways JUST to strengthen heroes you own gonna stop?. I personally have had enough. I'm definitely not spending anymore. Next will be limit breaking your master emblems I suppose. Thanks again for the content in your videos... I always enjoy them.
Cheers Limey I totally agree obvs SG got lucky cause of Covid then they got greedy when they realised why they picked up so many players so quickly there is a loooot of competition for them now though and that competition will give you good legendary heroes every few weeks guaranteed and enough mats to max them. How can u expect people ro get excited about emblems with competition like that! If they would just poke their heads out of the gaping hole they are digging long enough to take a look around they would quickly realise that the only way Forward is to go back. I'd like there to be a general available of master emblems through gaming (no brainer) but, as resets are available, I don't mind there being a separate category of emblem. Otherwise, people would just strip some heroes to max others and be left with a reduced selection of heroes they could use. I think I've said before, my reason for no spend iw the withdrawal of Ninja, Magic and Styx troop portals.
Those toon costume will become even more annoying and impossible to kill with master talents. Just faced a raid against a Vivica with almost 4300 of life, resisting everything, healing over 2400 Imagine on a VF war 😂 with her as central

Arent 5* toones very good right now? And with full costumes they go over 1,3k in power. So I feel like adding Superior talent, will create huuuuge cap between a) classic and meta heros, and b) heroes from old families.
This is right. By now we have all seen the gaping hole between the stats of newer and older heroes. If there was ever a poor time to release these emblems its now. This is the kind of update that should be driven by the players when everyone already has 6 teams of 2lb heroes with Legendary troops in most classes and they need more things to do. This seems more like desperation and I won't have any part of it. If they wish to bring older heroes back up to speed they can and this is the perfect way to do it. But only if it excludes new heroes. There are enough P2Win parts of the game to keep the whales busy this is about whether they want a future or a quick buck.
My protest will be no more pulls for the next 100 days. I only need 8 more pulls to qualify for another Fated Summons hero. Being that this crop is absolute TRASH, AND, the terrible heros I've had the misfortune of pulling after spending hundreds of dollars, I'm just not spending anything until these money grabbing @$$h*l&$ get their $h*# together. This game is losing me fast.
Agreed on the fated summons list. A poor selection of heroes just shows how little the developers value the non spenders. There will be a tipping point in the future where they will end up loosing the big spenders cause let's face it even the whales don't want to spend money on Mats! 😅 when that time comes it will be up to them as to whether they want to rebuild or abandon ship. I will most likely be there too but I can tell you my wallet will be closed. They can right their wrongs if they want to but it will hurt, a lot... until it doesn't. Sometimes progress means going back to go forward.
@McNaultyYT Until recently I had spent money on the game for pulls. Unfortunately after hundreds of dollars spent I'm demoralized with the turds I have from the paid tokens. The crazy thing is, I pulled c/Toon-Isarnia and c/Toon- Magni with free keys! I've basically decided I will do the bare minimum to fulfill my obligations to my group and only take now for free for the next 100 days. I wish more people would band together and stop spending so these jokers would get a clue. They are screwing over EVERYONE at every turn. Do they do some good things? Sure, but, it's always 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
With every layer added to maxing a hero.. the game is more and more imbalanced. The resources required are hard to come by. This means you are chasing the carrot on the string. Your attack teams never get a chance to catch up. When they introduced LB, you never had enough for 6 teams, but all defenses were at lb1. Then when you got close to that, they introduced lb2.. and so on. The power difference between a lb2 hero and a lvl 80 one is insane. That and adding the absolutely insane power creep on the new heroes. A game where there are hundreds of 5* heroes, but everything that is older than 2023 is obsolete. Not to mention 5* troops too.
True to all this and Carrot chasing is really tedious and not productive. Besides Carrots aren't the great rewards they once were, it's 2024 now & I'd rather have an XBOX ;?)

Some have multiple copies even. Already maxed ofc. Thats not xbox money.. thats Tesla money thrown into a damn candy crush game. As long as those 2-300 wackos throw tens of thousands of dollars each month into the game, anyone's opinion on the state of the game is irrelevant. Their wallet talks too loud. It's a terrible update. It's meaningless to boost older heroes when the newer ones will get the same or better boost. All it does is let the whales feel better about beating up on lesser spending players. The League is the same, most of us are just suckers for getting beat on by whales.

Thanks for the comment 👋 I take it you might be relatively early on in your journey I was FTP for years and I think you will be able to progress through all content but it is a grind with this game and you have to replay levels many times to progress. Of course it also takes longer if u don't spend anything but it can be done. This video is more of a warning that there is no pot of gold at the rainbows end.
I stopped spending a while ago because , think about this, what game do you spend all that money, which you could have bought something really nice in real life, and after you stop spending you just become mediocre in status? Your once great heroes just become outdated? It’s pretty crazy.

I agree it is crazy and it is a gatcha game so there is gonna be an element of fomo but that said the original developer had a good concept and with a slow progression the power creep can be managed and the gameplay kept fun and challenging. There are examples of this all over the mobile gatcha world titles like Genshin Raid and Watcher of Realms where keeping the balance is the #1 priority there can be fixes but they will need to accept an initial loss to realise those changes and that takes a true relationship between devs and players if they wish to make out that they value their community then they have the opportunity to do so. Thanks Cilla Stoopid that's the right word this is not what they say it is and they know it. It is literally like selling Ice to an Eskimo!! Resetting emblems doesn't even give you back all the food and iron used on them either so basically they are screwing you either way.

They missed a golden opportunity for a solution here just allow the increase to 25 for heroes over 1 year old and the problem is solved. But greed got in the way again. #NoSpend 🫰🫰🫰
@McNaultyYT I ended up using all but 1 reset emblem. I had to check all the heroes to make sure I wouldn't waste any golden emblems during reset. Zynga is beyond greedy. I hope they delay the dragons because this is way to much atm. I hate how f word greedy they are it's truly disgusting behavior on there end. Thanks mate. I think I did 21 or 22 resets. Lol 😆 worse part is a few of them were just finished. I had not used golden so I guess I'm semi pissed at the ham and iron that will be needed. Anyhow tc
