Schedule a message is definitely on T-Mobile it's the best thing for texting in sick to your job you can set it the night before hey boss I don't feel good I'm not going to be in today set it the night before he gets it at 6 you don't even have to wake up till 10
It will work on any carrier. It is not a carrier feature, it is an app feature. SMS is being sent by the app at the specific time and date. You need to have the phone on and have carrier coverage at that time obviously. E.g. you cannot schedule a message to be sent in the middle of your flight if you are in Airplane mode during the flight.
Thank you for these tips! I'm having an issue with my notifications I used to get texts in a quick pop up box when they arrived now I only get them on the pull down menu and I don't know what I've done to make my settings this way 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
My favorite msg tip is being able to drag text msg on screen in a little window and being able to minimize it on screen like fb messenger and still be able to do other things
I think SwiftKey is good and definitely better than the much improved Samsung keyboard, but I still think Gboard is the best and has more features. At least it was that way the last time I used Swiftkey. That’s what’s great about this phone and others...you can always choose what works for you the best! Enjoy your phone!
Hammer63 I think you’ll like it. Very similar to SwiftKey. I would say the biggest differences are the features like translate right there so you can text in whatever language and receive in whatever and it’s really easy. In addition, I love the google search feature again right there you don’t have to go anywhere. This keyboard makes you stay right here in your texting app/email app or whatever you’re using. I did just notice something as I read you response that did make me a little confused I guess. You mention these keyboard apps interchangeably with texting apps. In this case, Samsung Messages app. Obviously the Swiftkey, Gboard, Samsung keyboard and other can be compared because they are all different keyboards. Samsung Messages is obviously a texting app and it evidently has gotten better with a lot more features. I can’t remember if he said if it had RCS chat yet. I think so, but not certain. Oh and if it does that doesn’t mean it works interchangeably with different carriers. I’m with Verizon and I know people talk about bloatware that are put on the carriers phones with Verizon being guilty of this along with the other carriers. Yet, ironically I use there Message+ and I think it’s great. Beside the loads of features it has (most of these and had them before Samsung Messages, but there are a couple that Verizon Message+ doesn’t have), it works great. In fact there is one primary feature that keeps me from switching to other apps and it’s the compatibility feature. I have my Android phone, iPad, and PC all talking to one another flawlessly using this app. If can start a text on one device and finish in the other with no issues. But the biggest feature(especially now because of some new health issues) is the fact that I can turn my iPad into a phone. I can make and receive phones calls on the iPad through this app through my Android phone. So if I’m getting a phone call from across the room and there’s no way I’m going to make it to the phone, I can answer it on my iPad. I can even have my iPad have a separate ring tone. Now I know the texting feature also works and also includes the PC. I should see if my PC (which is a laptop) can also be turned into a speaker phone, like my iPad. Oh and btw, I can also dial out if I need to with the iPad. I got to try the pc. The only way I think I could ever use another texting app would be if the other app had this feature or I just didn’t need it anymore. Another thought that just popped into my mind that maybe you know, is do you think if I chose to use Samsung Messages or Android Message instead of this app as my primary texting app, but left my Verizon Message+ on my phone would I still have that calling feature and texting compatibility with all 3 devices. If that worked then I could also see potentially changing, but only if there are other features that I don’t have currently. Like I can’t send the remind directly from the app that he showed in this video, but I can definitely schedule text messages. That’s been around for a really long time. I know several people that couldn’t believe I had this feature. I’m hoping you know the answer. Hope I helped you. If it turns out you have Verizon, I would definitely think I may have hopefully helped. I’m curious though if you don’t have Verizon, I believe you can still download Verizon Message+ on the play store. I’d be curious to know if it works just like it does on mine even if you don’t have them as your carrier. Sorry for the lengthy message! Let me know if it was at least beneficial.
Great tips! I went to use the plus sign because thats what I found when I Googled how to send a delayed text! They failed to mention the scedule text feature app will show below the plus sign, and to click on the schedule text feature! I didn't look below the plus sign. I actually did it the way you showed in this clip, and followed your tip! It worked perfectly! Thank you! This clip was so informative! Great clip!
MON Ahumada I actually use both Android and IOS , coming from the note 9 , very big improvement, my view , from last year . First off , keyboard , WAY better than any before , first time I didn’t have to use the G Board , battery excellent, cameras better , aesthically a better overall device , too early to say that’s it , but it’s a real pleasure to use , you’ll love it !!!!
If you get a text (message) is there a way for the phone to automatically respond? like some sort of text that will get sent out saying you are away to anyone who texts you??
Hello, I don't text much and didn't know about any of these features. These features you've shown are brilliant especially the location one. Great if you break down in the car, you have no idea where you are. Trying to find my wife was a nightmare last time she had a puncture. Great tip thanx again. BTW this works in 🇬🇧 on the Virgin network. 👍🍻
Bro the first one alone.... sooooo useful. I work night shift and don't want to send my parents a message that late and wake them up and I forget ALL the time. Thanks
I cannot figure out how to attach a file to a text message in Samsung Note 10 Plus. In the past, there was a paperclip to click. Now, it only gives 3 options (icons to left of text box); Image, Camera, Other (no file folder, only shows Quick Response, Schedule Message, Subject, Image, Samsung Notes, Video, Audio, Location, Contacts, Calendar). Please help.
I was hoping to hear about how to set up and send Group Text, but you did not touch upon that at all. On my Galaxy Note 5 it was easy to find, but I can't seem to find it on Galaxy Note 10 yet. Any tips on that? Thanks. The Group Text button is not visible on text options as it was on Note 5. Thxs.
I've been using the schedule messages since the S8...brilliant feature. Samsung removed another brilliant feature where you could be reading a text message, then put the phone straight to your ear and it would dial that person! Miss that feature. My Note 10+ is awesome though!
Thank you for all the tips on messaging. I have an ongoing issue that maybe you can help with. After composing a message and either attaching a photo or snapping a photo to attach to the message I always get this pop-up grey message box ("Converting to Multimedia Message") that completely prevents me from seeing my keyboard. Extremely frustrating! Help??
Lol, I never really thought about scheduling messages to go out in the future. I really should think about hitting those three dot menu thingys to see what extra features there are in an app 😂😂😂
They were great and I have a friend who uses that voice message thing But what you didn't show me was what you are dealing with right in the open new writing there was A-line under your message That line disallows you To make quick changes How do you get rid of it
How can I hide my text? I want the notification that I have a new text but I want to hide the content of the text from popping up on the screen...and also how can I get the min text screen when I'm on another screen..I had it qen the fon updated but now it's gone
galaxy note 10 is there a way to send a group text as an individual message, so everyone on the texts don't get a reply that someone one make to original message?
No matter what I try my Note 10 plus with T-Mobile is having group text message issues. I had the Note 8 on Sprint and never had issues. I constantly miss group text from... Any thoughts?
I have AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 10plus. I'm trying to find a way to quote and reply to a specific text message so the recipient will know which message I'm responding to. Is this possible. If not, is there an app that WILL do this? Thanks!!
I knew about this not sure I have found it on my phone used to have it on my other will continue to look. Thanks but I was looking for other information of Text messages.
I have the note 10 and in one of my group messages it allowed me change the name of the group now I can't get it to do it anymore how do I get it todo it again?
I notice at times that when I send a text and the person replies without actually writing a sentence but it says "jane liked the message" or "jane emphasized the message" - Can I do that on the Note 10? I can't seem to find it...
