Danny, I have a doctorate degree, and was in school till the age of 28. You sir, are perhaps the best teacher that I have ever had. You’re also a very likable kind of guy, and I’m sure your students love having you as their teacher!
I have been studying Spanish for a month now. I'm getting kinda frustrated about it but then I found this video and it makes my life so much easier. You taught better than my teacher in class. Thank you so much!
You can do well to share his channel on social media platforms you know are full of people who are interested in learning Spanish. It will help create traffic for his channel, he really does deserve so much more than the likes he is getting
I am 62 and recently I have made some Spanish speaking friends. So I have been using a translator on my Android to communicate which has worked out OK but I thought I would learn Spanish in order to have better communication. I did pretty well with numbers, days, months etc.. But verb conjugation just blows my mind. In school and College I could breeze through math and science classes but I always struggled with English, the same with Spanish. I really enjoy your videos, you have a great style and I have learned a lot. However, as with most analytical people I keep getting frustrated with rule breakers. I suppose you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks for being so kind and pleasant in your teaching style.
Donald, thank you for your kind comments about my teaching and videos. Our minds truly do take in information in different ways. I wish we didn't have rule breakers, but the best way to handle them is to take a small portion and practice it until it's natural, then add more. You can do it!
I would like to sincerely thank you for your videos. I've honestly learnt so much from you within a few days. More than i have during my entire Spanish learning journey. Thank you a lot 🙏🏾
Hola Danny I can't say it enough you are the best teacher I have ever come across. At the age of 68 I've met many types of teachers and you make learning so much easier to understand. Muchas gracias. Helen
I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have wanted to learn Spanish for so many years. I even lived in Barcelona and still avoided learning due to a lack of confidence. I've now started lessons with a tutor but I have to tell you that you have a way of teaching that makes it so much easier to learn and understand. My confidence has grown even in a few days watching your lessons. I have charts all over my bedroom wall so when I do my lessons I can look up and already have the answers memorized. I'm moving back to Barcelona in the summer so I'll have a decent level by then. Thank you so much
I speak English and decided to learn some Spanish on my own/ For about 4 months now, I have been studying just vocabulary words. I wanted to learn how to put my words into sentences. I have learned so much from Dr. Evans. I practice at least 2-4 hours daily. I am a slow learner! He has provided the BEST CONTENT & LEARNING TOOLS which have helped me memorize so much. BEST TEACHER EVER! YOU SIR ARE A MASTER PROFESSOR! I will continue playing the videos to learn more. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU". Thank you for making this available. You have a real gift.
Dr Evans , you are simply a fantastic teacher . This is first time ever that I make a comment and hopefully I make more comments in future . You are a generous and kind gentleman and I love ❤️ the way of your teaching. I wish you and your family a Healthy , Joyful 😃and a Prosperous New Year .👍🙏❤️

At 67, learning spanish.I started through using bilingual app. I'm from India.I came across your channel. You are the best teacher I ever had.You are making it so interesting and simple, it shows your love for the language. You are willing to teach the mass comunity out of compassion. you are a great soul!
I am taking Spanish for the first time ever. I'm 38 and in college and I am struggling with learning a new language. My fil suggested your videos and in just 2 videos I've learned more than I have in 4 weeks of college.
9:11 LOL, I'm glad you mentioned this for the permanent condition. I go into this way too much. Like if the sentence says, "He/She is handsome/pretty." I'm like, "Well, maybe now, but in the future..."
OMG! I wish I checked internet years ago and came across your lessons. I would be talking with people around me and enjoyed. I moved to CA from east coast in 2006 and everyone thought I am spenish at first glance.(indian from India). I took classes when I moved here but just didn't understand a bit in class with all the younger kids around.now, years later, senior citizen, going to Mexico, decided to check out little bit to servive. After seeing many different videos, your lessons seem to interest me the most. I just want to say to you, YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN MY LIFETIME. I am undersdtanding pretty fast and hope to speek by nov.
Enes, that can be a challenge. The interesting part is that one word might be used in one country, but then a different word might be used in another country. I would suggest starting with one word and practice it as much as possible. Then when you feel you have it down really well, try to bring in a different form. Comenzar and empezar are great examples of this. And let me know if you need help!!
Your videos are SO helpful!! I'm working on learning Spanish for the first time in my 30s. This is one of the best resources I have found. Thank you so much!! You also give me hope that I can get the accent despite my native Southern drawl 😂
@@kaylagranthamjones7512 Hey Kayla! Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm really glad the videos are helping you! And yes, you can absolutely learn it and sound like a native speaker with practice. Please let me know if I can ever help you!
Great to find this as I started my Spanish school every Tuesday evening.. love this ... Its so informative and will look at your vids more .. Thanks for sharing with us . Regards from Nederland .
Firstly I would like to thank you for teaching in such a way that makes everyone not only learn Spanish but also enjoy it. I request you to please make videos on American English accent . I have watched so many teachers on internet teaching this accent but I have still not found such best teacher. I can understand it well but still I am not such a good speaker in this accent.
thank you so much for this 2 weeks ago I hated doing Spanish class but since I've done your lessons I am actually understanding how the language is constructed. tu eres es buenos tutor (sorry i dont know if that is wright)
Fantastic tutor, I wish you were mine. I watched you on AIB then went away watching other tutors. I've came right back to your channel because you make thins SO clear and enjoyable. I am 71 and believe me it gets so much harder to take things in (also my forgettery has increased). Thanks to you I have increased my standard willingness to learn. If you were my tutor I'd be flying, in the UK it's not that easy to learn Spanish. Thanks again
Hi Danny, thank you so much for making my mind organize in the foundation of studying Spanish language! It really helps me lot. Please please continue to make videos.
Danny , Estoy vs Soy ? Can you shred some light. For instance if i want to say " I am here because": estoy acqui para , is it wrong if I say yo soy acqui para? Thanks
Hi, I'm a native Spanish speaker, and I'll try my best to answer to your question. If you say "I am here beacause...", in Spanish it would be "Estoy aquí porque..." In this phrase you should never use "soy". To understand the difference between the verbs "Ser" and "Estar", you should watch Mr. Evans' video about "Estar" so you can see the difference between these two verbs. I hope my answer can be useful to you.Excuse me for any mistake I may have made, since I'm not totally fluent in English yet.
❤️😘❤️ Trying to finish all the lesson. Need this to apply as Trilingual specialist that will pay me well 6 times my salary now.. You will be part of it
I have a private Spanish tutor.Every time we complete a lesson. I reference back to your videos. Your videos have given me the confidence to speak Spanish. Thank you very much.
Muchas Gracias Dr Evans. You are doing a great service to humanity by publishing these lessons for free. While apps can help build vocabulary, such lessons are necessary to strengthen the basics. I hope to achieve A1 level in the next few months. Please keep producing lessons for intermediate levels too. God bless!
Aoa sir please I need ur guide lines,I live in Pakistan, and my husband lives in Spain,1st I am great full to u that I found u for learning Spanish at home in Pakistan....2nd I HV done my M.phil degree, can I homologat my degree in Spanish ... please sir need ur guidelines
So if you are only using Spanish in Mexico, and you don't really use Vosotros sois, what WOULD you say instead? Just use the singular version, Tu eres?
I wonder about the sentence you use in this video. I want to be a Spanish teacher. Wouldn’t that be “Yo quiero ser un professor de espanol” “Yo soy un professor de espanol “would be “I am a Spanish teacher” or am I remembering high school Spanish incorrectly which is quite possible as it was a long time ago
I'm originally From Egypt and Arabic is my mother tongue (a lot of similarities with Spanish BTW ), but I work and live right now at Dubai, I've met a lot of people and became friends all over the world specially after EXPO- Dubai 2020-i met many people speaks Spanish, my target is to reach/ visit number of countries i can speak their languages, 22 countries speak Arabic ,35 countries speak Spanish and i think many speak English, and i'm so lucky and blessed to meet you at my first search to learn Spanish ;) .
oh my god, i literally can't take this seriously, because the verb ''ser'' in my language (czech) means something like 'shit' or 'go take shit' 😭(i'm so sorry for this comment but i really couldn't help myself, it's so funny) but the lesson is still veeeery helpful so thank you so much for this, you're the best explainer ❤
I knew it! Usted es de Georgia! No wonder I'm finally getting how to pronounce and speak Spanish! Seriously, you are an excellent teacher. Mucho gracias.
