DMT increases when you smoke weed or when you consume it, this is one of the reasons why sometimes shiva is depicted with ganja, and in some places people use ganja for spiritual practices. But not everyone who consumes weed will experience the same it requires a certain quality of brain and mind.
@@adhvaitha well I am not promoting it, I am just saying the fact, some people will have benifit from it, by using one will experience things to certain extent, it same as you do some sadanas on some specific days. And there is a saying when you are in a spiritual path you won't choose a plant, the plant chooses you. Well I can't explain in depth.

In the Kundalini awakening part, is it the same as what we Westerners call astral projection? Because the description sounds the same to me (and it describes my own experience pretty well).
Hi, As per my understanding, Kundalini energy arousal is the cause and the astral projection, psychic abilities, etc., are the effects. But in Vedanta, all this is asked to be ignored as a spiritual seeker must focus only on going beyond.
@@adhvaitha well as per me one should observe the nature of their own mind, every day you sleep you're mind doing a same thing as you said. That's not what we should work on. One should work on "chitta writhi nirodhaha" well your brain is already complex you are just giving more to it, all you need to do is you just need to observe.
