Mustafina and Wevers have the most unique choreo. And Yang Bo's lines, omg

For me (and this is hard because I have a lot of favorites) but Elthora Thorsdottir and Kara eaker are the best overall beam dancers. There movements are unique, they fully commit to them (so you extensions through the fingers and toes), they represent a personal style and, more than anyone else, they both keep an internal tempo that there movements are set to. Both of them (and all of these ladies) do this extremely well

I love her but including Ally Raisman here is such a troll move.

All Manila's routine is pure artistry ❤

Eythora Thorsdottir is my favorite, but I’m surprised that Irina Krasnyanskaya(UKR) and Ana Porgras(ROU) weren’t featured here. They are the 2006 and 2010 World Champions on Balance Beam and their choreography and dance was exceptional.

Two of my faves are Anna Pavlova and Catalina Ponor, just such fluid beam workers

I realize you are exclusively focusing on Elite level, but when I think of great beam choreography, I think of Peng Peng Lee.

I love Nastia’s ‘05-‘07 choreo, same as Aliyah, complex, unique and with grace. The countless times I tried that 0:38 choreo at home hahaha. Yang bo is so different like Sanne Unconventional but I wanna add Carly’s ‘04 beam choreo - too complex for me to memorize hahaha (let’s leave her floor choreo here hahaha) I wanna add alicia sac’s expressive beam choreo back in ‘06 and Cheng Fei’s ‘04 choreo.

Sanne, Eythora and Kara. The rest look semi or fully robotic lol

Kara Eaker's ballet swan pose is my favorite. But besides her, Rebeca, Nastia and Eythora, almost all the gymnasts here look stiff and robotic while rushing through their choreography, robbing them of any artistry.
