I usually also make mistakes when I am rushing or tired. I tend to make weeding mistakes... I dont find it relaxing but I do find uv resin relaxing weirdly. Thanks for the awesome video again.
Another excellent video Kelly, packed full of tips, techniques and talent! I don’t have an easy press and have never worked with either infusable ink or iron-on and only a little with vinyl so this is all new to me. My most common mess-ups are when I haven’t secured the card stock on the mat properly and it skips while cutting or I miscalculate where to put a scrap of card on the mat and the cut misses the card! I work a lot with specialty card stock which tends to be a bit more expensive so I try and use every bit, but often end up wasting it! Anyway, your project is gorgeous as ever, thank you for sharing. ❤😘
Thanks for all the tips, and a great video. I ALWAYS make mistakes when I try to get a small project done at the end of work and before I cook supper. Always rushing to get done 😂😢😂
I had one of those days yesterday. I was cutting out patterned Cricut Iron-On and although I remembered to mirror my design, I forgot to put the iron-on shiny side down on the mat. Fortunately it only cut through the carrier sheet layer, so I was able to turn in over and put in back in the machine to re-cut. However my Cricut Maker 3 didn't cut anything at all. I tried everything - brand new mat, cleaning the blade, more pressure - zilch, no cuts at all. Had to end up cutting the design twice without removing the mat in between. Took me much longer to do one simple project than it should have. Some days are just sent to try us.
I’m a bit late in seeing this video - it’s great! Didn’t know HTV can be layered on top! Projects that have gone wrong for me have mostly been “user error” such as: not measuring my blank & design properly, not placing my material on the mat in the correct spot when using smaller pieces or scraps, & not doing a check of the cut before unloading my mat. Also: choosing a design that really doesn’t work for the material like one that had way too many tiny or skinny sections that got ruined during the cut or after when weeding 😳🙁🙁
