I’ve now watched this a couple of times and i think this is one of the best bushcraft vids i’ve ever watched - combines practical reality of useful skills with the techniques you’ll need and interesting charm of delivery. I think this will be a long term keeper. Big fan

What an amazing comment! A very humble but big thank you. These videos are really enjoyable to make and it's nice to hear that they help and are received well. Sorry about the late response but RU-vid has a knack for forgetting to notify creators about these things. Thank you for the support and hope you keep enjoying the videos.

It's a real treat watching your videos. Joe, your lessons are basic and memorable which (in my opinion) are clear indicators of truly understanding the subject and a skillful teacher. I also really like your constant focus on safety. Excited to participate in one of your courses soon

Jaysus Joe you had me in knots with the chicken dance in the 80s .... memories! Great listening to an Irish accent over mostly Americans on RU-vid, you're a treasure trove of information and inspirational in your enthusiastic delivery, I really enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing your knowledge, I am putting together some kit as I am really only starting out with the outdoors but I am grateful for the safety advice as I don't think I would have been careful enough with some of the processes...but listening and watching you has given me a completely different perspective, loved the axe 🪓 videos as well! Go raibh maith agat!

"Better to be looking at it, then looking for it".... I like that one. I generally go with, " it's better to have and not need, then need and not have", but yeah, I like that one. Great video guys. Keep it up. Cannot remember if you guys have a video about this yet, but tool maintenance would be a great one. Knife, axe, ect. Sharpening, honing, oiling handle and steal, and maybe even sheath care. We all have our choice of knives, but I'm sure there's people here that may learn something to help keep them at 100% and safe.
@inforestsandlands

Thank you brother ! We also agree with you on the basics of maintenance. We posted an in depth stropping video just recently and will be following it up soon. The maintenance are a personally favourite of mine (joe) to make

Buenas Noches. Always a good thing to return to as a skill if you've had a challenge elsewhere in bushcraft activities. Fire not starting despite your best efforts? Whittle yourself a notch-stick. Tarp not staying in place or knots just not sitting right? Carve a little stick of notches. Buenas notches everyone.

@jeffreysmall2397 I haven't, brother. I ain't a fan of it personally. With my channel, if I have nothing good to say, I don't say it. Tracker knives aren't bad by any means. I personally just don't get along with em.
