One of the best poker coaches in the world, Jonathan Little, will take you through his best tips for Learning Pot Odds and Mastering Poker Math in Poker! Mastering the fundamentals of poker is incredibly important for all people beginning to take poker more seriously.
Whether you play poker once/week or once/year, you want to learn the fundamentals and start to develop an edge over the competition. With these fundamental tips, you'll be able to execute at the table and develop an edge over the competition. Good luck & I hope you learn a ton!
The Pot Odds Formula is really a way to measure the risk that you're taking versus the reward that you're getting of winning the pot. Many people try to be 'right' or 'wrong' when making a call on the river, but really, if you're simply going to win more often than how often you need to with pot odds, then you should call. Even if you're only going to win 30% of the time!
That is the beauty of poker math :) I hope you enjoy this video and learn a ton about pot odds, poker math, and how to execute at the table!

When you where taling about your open ender hitting 16% wouldnt it be 32 since you have the turn and river to come meaning 8×4( you have 2 more cards to come ) even with or without imploed odds shouldnt you continue?

The way you’ve explained in this video has made it a lot easier to follow. Obviously memorising the common pot odds is down to the player but is there a simpler/faster way of calculating the pot odds? My division isn’t that good and in online games you don’t have long to act.

Jonathan I’m in a recent downswing it feels like every time I’m betting for value they fold and when they continue they have the nuts.

You made a huge mistake in the beginning saying the pot is $50. So confusing. I had to relisten 3 times. Please fix and Reupload this video! It’s when you are adding up to $200

Noticed this. I know what you meant, but yes, pretty integral to state it correct here.
