Hey guys, today I am going to show you this famous temple called ChennaKesava temple, but I am only going to focus on these statues on top, popularly known as Madhanikas. Why were they put here? Were they put here simply for beauty? Or do they have a deeper meaning? These are the questions we will decode in this video.
At first sight, your natural inclination is to admire the beauty of a Madanika herself.
Here is a carving that is simply impossible to ignore. She is beautiful in every aspect, her facial features, her eyes, her eyebrows are amazing. And look at her hair, how every thing looks perfect, she has a fashionable hairclip to make her hair twist and turn beautifully. .At the end, her hair is perfectly cut into a straight line. Her body is just breath takingly beautiful, adorned with a variety of ornaments.
Here is another spectacularly beautiful woman, her hairdo is quite different from the previous Madhanika. She looks majestic and is lifting one of her feet, and her assistant is doing something. What is happening here? She is actually holding a ring, a toe ring in her hand, and her assistant is putting another toe ring on to her toe. If you zoom in, you can see her individual toes and some of them already have rings.
There are a total of 42 Madhanikas in this temple, the word Madanika means ‘To get excited or aroused’ especially by beauty or love. And even after 900 years, visitors, both men and women are completely captivated by the beauty of these Madhanikas.
Here is a woman with a strange facial expression. What is happening here? She is singing, look below, you can see a bunch of drummers on the left and a man playing a flute on the right side. So, she is the lead singer, that is why her mouth is open, because she is singing. And not only do we see the upper row of teeth, the sculptor has even carved the inside of her mouth, this is just fantastic.
Here is another woman, who is also singing joyfully, her excitement is visible even after 900 years, and playing the cymbals in her hand at the same time. It looks like she is blushing and smiling at the same time, as though it is her first time performing.
So our natural inclination, is to admire the beauty of these Madhanikas, but if you manage to get past the beauty of these women, which is very hard to do, you will start observing other fascinating aspects, based on your skill set and education.

Kumar I’m British and can confirm that the official British story is that “Indians are stupid savages who have silly fantasy dreams”. That’s always been the story the British elite spin. But I must point out I’m not from the UK and I’m definitely not English and I hate that I’m British by a technicality in the same way that Indians were British not long ago. I don’t need to point out any names. They all say you’re dumb animals with stupid fairy stories. They say that about everyone. It’s just that your temples are still standing and that makes them nervous. Your temples are exposing their lies. Never, ever, ever trust the English. They lie about literally everything. That’s why they want you in a war right now. They want to finish ending your culture.

And it's usually the ones that choose to live with there imaginary beliefs that end up destroying all the magnificent art that is simply dipicting the reality of truth. The more truth that art resembles (for example real life like statues) the more the ones that are stuck with there imaginary beliefs tend to destroy anything that represents truth. It's as if they want to live life as a fool. It's like the people rather stay in the matrix, knowing it's not real cause it's where they are more comfortable. All over the world where art, science, and math and knowledge was at its peak, there was always some kind of minority cult going against the grain. It's no wonder why the Romans use to throw the Christians to the lions. They see someone carve out a life like statue out of marble, and rather than praise that skill they oppose it and say it's idol worshiping to be amazed at such art work. Peopke like that could really fuck up the whole mood, there like a bunch of downers, so if they want to live there life so miserably , then might as well throw there miserable asses to the lions. If people can't embrace something as simple as a detailed sculpture then sonething is definitly wrong with them.

@@dreddmann9292 I'm a Christian but I totally agree with you! Artists and musicians and creative people end up demonized by religious authority. That can be a source of internal conflict for an already sensitive artist. Art is not evil!!!

Well I was referring to the beginnings of christianity. You know it use to be looked at as a cult in the same way we see how crazy and insane cults are now. People take there beliefs much to serious to where it's just not natural or healthy. Taking beliefs to serious is just as bad as a kid that plays make believe but acts as whatever he's made up to believe is actually true. What we believe and what we know are 2 entirely different things. But people always get these 2 things twisted as if they are the same. They are not. Just remember what you believe and what you know are 2 entirely different things and these 2 things should always be looked at as 2 seperate things. When you start doing this you will start to see things a bit more clearer than before. Believing is not truth, but knowing is.

I wish we could find a villain to substantiate your claim. The more mundane reason is that in our culture we do not care about history. Our writings on history are meager, our knowledge about our history even less so. Our dynasties are often mere references in some books. Even the Emperor Ashoka was unknown until the 19th century, and it took the British to decipher the Brahmi script and reveal Ashoka's history.

It is now found that there was a migration from India to Europe may be 7000 to 8000 years ago or before that. That's why pagan Europeans have similar idol worshipping multi god and goddess culture same like Hinduism . So basically white people have Indian /Hindu ancestry . There are idols and remains found in Germany russia and Ukraine relating to Hinduism . All ,yes all European languages have sanskrit words in it . Lithuania - (god) deva , sanskrit -deva English- three (3) , sanskrit -trre Italian -(silver) argentine, sanskrit -arjun English -punch(which needs all five fingers) , sanskrit -panch (means five5) French - mort (death) , sanskrit - mrut English - name , sanskrit - naam Mother , sanskrit - matr Cow , sanskrit - gau Door , sanskrit - dwar Brother , sanskrit - bhratra Medium , sanskrit - madhyam Path , sanskrit - patha I can go on.. Also a festival in eastern Europe specially in Russia is celebrated called "Maslentisa" , same as "Holi" all the rituals( burning of wood ),timing(falls in same month) , nomenclature (named after a lady of fire also same) and marks end of winter . Improbable definitely not impossible for it exist, the fact that the modern man has no understanding of the method used by his ancestors speaks more about us than them,if what you believe is true, man has no intellectual prowess and must be taught every single thing. I am so glad they were so much more intelligent than us we are left shaking our heads in disbelief even as we look upon their work, we have no artisans, by which I mean, in ancient times a Mason literally knew everything about stone and its manipulation, many cultures spent thousands of years developing their skills and passing them into the future, modern man has no equivalent, education in our society is business with no moral obligation to the future of the species, we have a bigoted belief that we are the best version of us and we will birth the next, best version of us,and ther is absolutely no proof at all that this is the case as a matter of fact, we have obviously forgotten knowledge greater than we possess today. The more advanced we become the more we realize that they were far more advanced than we thought and that trend will not change

Hi! I work, I sculpt with wood. Even the thorough and meticulous elaboration of wood takes many, many months. Sculpting with stone works with a multiplier of x5. Creating such a perfect and such meticulous sculpture for one person or more people, even if the mainstream information says it is years with today's modern tools.(I'm thinking of making a single statue now.) Obviously, anyone who sculpts knows what I’m talking about in the following, but anyone who doesn’t sculpt has no idea what to do next. Although it may be subjective and I am the only one doing so. So know that a statue is such a masterpiece with tremendous spiritual breath, willpower, dedication and perseverance. It requires mental and physical, physical endurance and vigor. Between statue and statue, mental regeneration is important. But here, too, we can see a complex of structures and sculptures that makes me think. How long did it take to make the carvings only and exclusively? Who were the builders? How were they fixed without damage for hundreds and hundreds and thousands of years to build, incorporate these masterpieces? Were they human at all? Or machines? Or gods? I can't find words or a solution. It would take too long to plan all this. Even taking the project and putting aesthetic plans “on paper” takes an amazing amount of time. Then get artists, give them time to have them all carved out there. Then get masters to build it. Get workers to transport you there and build all this with perfect instruction. This is also a great request sign. And this is just one of many incomprehensible miracles Praveen presents. Thank you, Praveen Look at the dimensions and the perfect and extremely complex workmanship. It is stunning and touches the beauty and talent of the artist to the depths of my soul. I cry with reality, I feel so much the power of the artist’s intellect, power and consciousness. Do not forget that the sculpture is a stone block. The roughing of it and the work of creating the rough shape of the sculpture also require a lot of time and a lot of attention and continuous precise measurements. Those who created these breathtaking, stunning, tear-jerking works were artistic powers whose names, their wonderful deeds, were swallowed up by time. Buildings created in such a quantity and with such unimaginable precision would be incapable of making money in today's money, profit-conscious society, and its artists. These come from an era of masterpieces, consciousness where people’s minds were still healthy and a very serious “divine” Divine presence determined the spirituality of people’s everyday lives. Greetings from Hungary!

Every culture is beautiful but i do agree Our culture is underrated. There are so many stuffs out there. In ancient times 3 major Indian philosophies (Hindusm, Buddism and Jainism) debated among each other and created amazing things. There were enlightened masters from each philosophies even among many branches of Hindusm. But 1000 years of continuous invasion broke many things. But most of them retain the aspects of ancient cultures unlike many old cultures. We still build temples with intricate designs (checkout Akshardham temples in US UK etc its carved in India and shipped to other countries) by the descendants of many sculptors. Its not only about the complexities of architecture but also music, arts, dances, food, philosophies.

Archaeological findings have found "swastika" (holy in Hinduism , nothing to do with hitler) found in Germany and russia and Ukraine dating back to 6000bc

No matter the original reasons for these statues, I'm just blown away, by the sheer depth and detail of the stone work. Such fantastic stone filigree, and design! The real mystery concerning this temple and many others, is just HOW, did they create such detailed beauty, such realism, and such diversity. Looking away from the statues, all the rest of the carvings and stone works only add to the mystery of 'HOW.' Every square inch, is part of some other scenic carving, draped in mystery. One could spend days or weeks, just trying to take in all the details of the stone works, before ever knowing 'why' they were created in the first place.

It numbs the mind to think there was such a level of technology beyond ours today back then just to build a temple or a monument today that would last a thousand years. Just for our best buildings to last a few hundred years intact requires a constant construction crew and professional engineer on sight the whole time. These temples have stood thousands of years without maintenance is undeniable proof the human genome has degraded a lot since the people who engineered those temples, the only explanation after that is aliens or angels truly did come to earth in chariot's of fire with wheels within wheels.

According to Vedas in Yuga cycle the ages see a gradual decline of dharma, wisdom, knowledge, intellectual capability, life span, emotional and physical strength. Satya Yuga - Virtue reigns supreme. Human stature was 21 cubits (33 ft 6 inches). Average human lifespan was 100,000 years. Treta Yuga - There was 3 quarter virtue and 1 quarter sin. Normal human stature was 14 cubits (22 ft 4 inches). Average human lifespan was 10,000 years. Dwapara Yuga - There was 1 half virtue and 1 half sin. Normal human stature was 7 cubits (11 ft 2 inches). Average human lifespan was 1,000 years. Kali Yuga - There is 1 quarter virtue and 3 quarter sin. Normal human stature is 3.5 cubits (5 ft 3 inches). Average human lifespan will be 100 years.

Thank you for another fascinating video. I am an old man, and not wealthy. It is highly unlikely that I would ever be able to visit and explore these wonderful places myself, so I truly appreciate how you share them with the world. I have long had a great respect for and interest in ancient Indian religion and/or philosophy, since I was taught early on the connection between that and my own, Druidic, philosophy. So, let me wish you all the very best at this turning of the year, and thank you once again.

Rough estimate for a month long low budget trip. After arrival in India Stay 20$ per day x 31 620$ Food 3$ per meal x 3 times a day x 31 279$ Local commute 100$ Flight expenses Subject to country. >1200$ (America, one side) I guess you can explore a lot of places in India with a budget of about $4000-$5000. I wish you could make it work. 🙌

As a Canadian, if I may represent the whole world, I agree. Since I've been watching Praveen Mohan's videos, my understanding has been shifting. 10 years ago you would have asked me what I considered a great mystery, I would have said Kheops, or the Sphynx; but the quality, detail and quantity of mysteries in India far surpasses every other nation. And not just in today's India, but even as far as Cambodia, Angkor Wat.

Everything will be destroyed some day, And everything will begin again, And then again destroyed. Just cherish your time, and don't get stuck in Ego. You have taken birth as a black, as an east asian, as a white, as a christian, as a muslim, as an animal, as a fish, as a bird and will take births in different forms again too. Everything is Maya. And Krishna is the destroyer of Ego We mustn't feel proud of what our ancestors or our forefather or our parents did without accomplishing much ourselves. I'll feel proud when India is truly free of Abrahmic cults that predate on Dharmic people, and until then it's our duty. My god is Kautilya ( Chanakya ) and nobody comes close to him. If his philosophies were followed then we would be ruling the entire world today but alas, we are troubled in our own land by Abrahmic Cults

Lithuania - (god) deva , sanskrit -deva English- three (3) , sanskrit -trre Italian -(silver) argentine, sanskrit -arjun English -punch(which needs all five fingers) , sanskrit -panch (means five5) French - mort (death) , sanskrit - mrut I can go on.. Also a festival in eastern Europe specially in Russia is celebrated called "Maslentisa" , same as "Holi" all the rituals( burning of wood ),timing(falls in same month) , nomenclature (named after a lady of fire also same) and marks end of winter . Archaeological findings have found "swastika" (holy in Hinduism , nothing to do with hitler) found in Germany and russia and Ukraine dating back to 6000bc.

@@mindreader9874 Hi, yes i know about the indo-german language family, its amazing what you can found out when you study languages and where they are from and what cultures they where. About the paganism.....yes i think so too, but i also think they had deeper knowledge about reality and the meaning of the universe and so of course, also about the living on earth. They knew what was going on in the background of reality, like the gods behind the woman in the Video.

Boggles the mind how such detail and perfection was carved into stone on such a monumental scale. I believe it in my heart that humanity is very close to rediscovering the free energy technology that will unlock the secrets of the planetary animal mother along with humanity's true potential. This can only happen when the two genders mend the rift between them and unite as one on a global scale. Praveen is pure gold, what a gift his insights are into India's ancient past. When my family visited the Chennakeshava devastana, we took a guide who explained everything bout the devstana and the carvings. I was in tears when th guide explianed that most statues' noses were damaged by the islamists because in our Dharma statues whose nose (more importantly) is damaged are devoid of worship. Hence the chennakeshava devastana is a tourist spot and not a place of worship. But the number of devstanas were so many that islamists were tired in breaking down every statue. So they would just damage the noses. There were people who took some statues away for safe keeping. So even though Chennakeshava devastana is well known, there are so many statues all over on road sides buried in the mud which in recent times people have started to find while excavating or digging for some reasons.

Can you explain more about the nose thing? It's interesting, because Egypt's sphinx has the nose broken off. It also was NOT built by Middle Eastern people, as it has a Negroid facial profile, with prognathism. Wonder if there is a connection.

The destruction of the temples had nothing to do with Islam. Have your heard of "Divide and Conquer"? The same people who control the world today are the same people running the governments who destroyed the ancient knowledge to create a dumb society that suffers simply by loosing their own innate power. This is the satanic agenda that brings them the ultimate pleasure, not their easily printable paper dollars.

@@AKu-xs5vg Smashing a nose would prevent a statue-spirit from breathing. Hammering off the ears would make it unable to hear a prayer. Removing divine emblems could neutralise their powers. Chopping off the right hand would prevent them from receiving offerings. Religion has also played a huge part, even though extremist Muslims aren't the only ones who have been caught in the act as many people believe today. Christians, Jews, and many other known religions have also taken part in the shameful act of vandalism throughout the centuries and are responsible for the de-nosing and dismembering of many cultural and historical treasures. The pattern of destruction quickly reveals that the targets were specifically chosen to 'deactivate an image's strength'. Smashing a nose would prevent a statue-spirit from breathing. Hammering off the ears would make it unable to hear a prayer. Removing divine emblems could neutralise their powers. Chopping off the right hand would prevent them from receiving offerings. And in statues that show humans making offerings to gods, axing the left arm would prevent those offerings from being made.

Your comment is very motivational to me. Here in Chennai, in the last few days, I realised that India is currently undergoing a Cultural and Religious Genocide. The whole eco system which gave us these highly evolved Sculptures and the Philosophical Background of all this art... Santana Dharma..is being Demonized, Belittle and wiped out. Being done by Indians themselves who have become followers of Communism, Islam and Christianity. In the last month my DMK Party led Government has destroyed at least 10 temples in Tamilnadu..My mind is screaming...why?. I realised it last night....it's religious genocide in Motion.
