Mastermind GT/10 and Effect Gizmo setup using the Mastermind GT Editor

This video show you how to set up a Mastermind GT/10 MIDI foot controller to control a complete guitar rig, including a MIDI loop switched that is connected to 7 analog pedals and 2 digital MIDI enabled pedals. With this configuration, you can have multiple pedals switch on and off, and select presets on your digital pedals, all with the tap of a signal button.

What about adding an amplifier? I have a marshall jvm410h and i want to control it (for channel switching) together with my strymon mobius and mooer ocean machine in my mastermind gt/22. I also have analog pedals connected to the effect gizmo, do i still have to connect my jvm into the effect gizmo to control it? Since the marshall jvm 410h have midi on it, I was thinking that I'm gonna daisy-chain my jvm to the strymon mobius and mooer ocean machine: midi out from effect gizmo > midi in of mooer ocean machine > midi in of strymon mobius > midi in of marshall jvm410h. And then I will add the jvm to the mastermind gt devices. Does it work?

When using a MIDI capable amp, it connects and works just like any other MIDI device. The MIDI connections you suggest will work fine!

I have a tc plethora x5 can I run different fx using one of these like coz has different fx on one pedal so have like two delays one chorus one phaser can I run all of them and switch them on and off using gt floor controller

If the Plethora's individual effects can be controlled by MIDI messages, then the GT will be able to control it. I see from the Plethora manual that it has a MIDI input, which is the first step, but the manual doesn't really talk about its MIDI capabilities, so I can't be sure about the rest.

do I run a midi cable from the mastermind foot controller to the effect gizmo, then out of EG into the various midi controlled rack units in the signal chain in order to send these preset CC....? sorry, total newbie here!!

Yes, MIDI cable from Mastermind MIDI output to Effect Gizmo MIDI input and Effect Gizmo MIDI Out/Thru to the input of your next MIDI device. Keep chaining them that way.

Hi, when I'm setting up devices *(the effects units in the rack), what do I do if they are not listed in the drop down menus that are in the RJM editor? I am running Eventide Eclipse, Korg SDD 2000, and Korg SDD 3000. Can I add manually? Thx!
