I think yes but there are a lot of other factors like how many courses from your department & out of department are available for that term, are they easy or difficult. Because if you get 2 C grades in your degree you might need to repeat the subjects or you won't get the degree. And repeating a subject is worst nightmare for an international student because of extra fees that you will have to pay and time limit for your visa. So students generally take 1.5-2 years to complete the degree.

Hi Yogesh. I am not sure about this. At one point I tried similar thing with Concordia university but they had a lot of prerequisites for their degree. They wanted me to take a lot of extra subjects which was completely different from what we expect in terms of credit transfer. So, I would say check with the university what they do in such cases. I don't think there's any exact answer for this question.

Question - the job hours is fixed in student visa per week. So when working IT jobs, that relaxation is given ? If you are working in IT job like a start up as your part time job, how many hours you work a week?

Number of hours for work depends upon your immigration status. So, as long as you are a student you are permitted only 20 hrs irrespective of the job type.

Bro, what is your CPI. As one of my friend has applied for same. He got 7.5 in ielts and cgpa is 8.1 and he get rejected. And reason they gave is that his cpi is lesser than 8.

@@dp-su3gp my percentage is 82.24 so according to calculators on internet my cpi is around 8.7 approx or maybe close to it...but i dont get it ig your friend's cgpa is 8.1 how did he get a cpi less than 8? anyway did he apply for ms in cse only?

@@RedmanSpeaking yes he applied for ms in applied computer science. Here according to gujarat technological University, Cpi = average spi of all 8 semesters. Cgpa = average spi of last 4 semesters.

I applied on 1 feb That was a last date. And I received offer letter at 26 may 12:02am

@@harshavardhini3981 Do not worry at all dear. Concordia university always let an applicant know about the result of application. Actually concordia, this time, following priority sequence based method to shortlist the candidates for admission. I mean, whose profile is stronger, he/she is getting replies soon. So you will definitely get reply

Try it if you have a strong profile, else take Electrical and Computers and then switch to applied CS. Make sure you discuss this with your course coordinator before choosing degree in electrical and comp.
