Agnes Fabricius draws a superb colour pastel portrait of young Danish girl at the place du Tertre. No artist draws colour portraits faster than Agnes but quality is not sacrificed for speed
She IS amazing! but everyone can learn from her, she keeps things simple, and the portrait is developed from one stage to the next in a very rational way. But it takes a god given talent to draw as fast as this lady..unfortunately, there are things that just cannot be taught.
Such a joy to see Agnes create another amazing portrait. Thank you Davy for this excellent video. An amazing performance by both of you...still grinning.
Agnes is the queen os pastel colour!! I love this work. Incredible but true. Stay 24 min watching it with my mouth open. Thanks so much for the video!! From Spain (Andalucía)
What pastel is that? Hard or soft pastel? May i know? Because i dont see their pastels to powderize. When i use my pastel it powderize when i draw i use fabercastell soft pastel
The artist is using soft pastel: Conté à paris and CarbOthello. Depending on the brand all pastels will give off some dust when used.I have a studio where I use " clean" media like watercolour or ink and do digital work on the computer and a separate studio for charcoal, pastel, oil, acrylic paintings. If you have breathing problems, working indoors with pastel can be a problem.
I came across this channel, how enriching it is to see how Artists make portraits so quickly!!! I love it! Making a portrait is not easy, and even more if you want to add details, it can take weeks, I appreciate the work of this Artist, she us excellent! Thank you for share😊
Hola. Muchas gracias.
Mind blowing... Being an artist, I would like to know the brand name of those color & paper. Can you mention these thing in your video please so that we can learn... Pls. 😊
Davy this portrait from Agnes was stunning. Great tips especially colour and less black in pastel that is. Ill try and do this style of portrait and the eyes. thanks for showing this!!!!!
