If that's synopsis is real, then it's just like how Michael Bay wanted to make the turtles aliens in his TMNT movies. Agree that Jim Carrey is interesting pick for Skeletor. I could see him pulling off that cartoonish villain vibe easily, but I think he'd be capable of portraying the menacing side of Skeletor just as well.

I think every He-Man fan would agree with you to keep earth out of a He-Man movie. It kind of blows my mind they would include this in the plot. Especially after all the criticism the 80's HeMan movie got for having took place on earth.

Agreed it's He-Man not Superman, keep him off Earth. Movies are about escapism, we want to visit Eternia, learn from MOTU 87 Mattel. Thor Ragnarok is a good blue print for a MOTU movie imo. Interesting casting there, especially for Skeletor.

I really like your casting of Girard Butler,Pierce Brosnan, and Meryl Streep. I don't like Brie Larson for Teela, only because when I see her in action she looks awkward to me. She runs kinda funny and to me just doesn't seem athletic at all. She's like that girl in PE class who never played any sports, but had to participate to get an A. Alan Ritchson for He-man would be great too. Jim Carey as Skeletor is genius! I would've never thought to cast him but I agree with your idea of using him. Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon) would be my choice for Evil Lynn, or possibly Teela. Josh Brolin would be my choice for Trap Jaw. Thanks so much for touching on this topic! I love hear everyones thoughts on this. If it was up to me, and I had unlimited budget I would make a rule that I could only use film technology that was available in the 80's. Little to no CGI, and pretty much all practical effects. The new CGI is amazing, but I think if a movie came out today using all practical effects it would really stick out from all the other super hero movies. I would want it to have a Conan the Barbarian/Flash Gordon/Beastmaster feel. Also, the plot would stick closer to the mini comics rather than filmation. I realize this is a very unrealistic scenario because of budgeting, but a boy can always dream. Anyways thanks again for your input!
