Whenever I see this character, the first thing that comes to mind is a hilarious sketch from an episode of "Robot Chicken" in which Skeletor and other villains are confronted by the Eternian dentist character, Molarr, with Grizzlor getting stabbed in the eye by a tooth drill, causing him to complain afterwards. XD
wow i wasn't really expecting much from grizzlor but this review has convinced me otherwise! the addition of the weapons and the loincloth are awesome! It makes me wonder though if they included throwbacks to the 200X version like the loincloth and the weapons but not the face
@ 4:45, Grizzlor does not appreciate being fondled that way...or does he...? lol. Nice review Pixel Dan. Keep 'em coming. It's interesting how they made this one as they stitched the fur together in certain places to stay on rather than gluing it in place.
@GundamWarrior1 i got my Grizzlor yesterday and i really don't have the kinda issue that he pointed out. idk, it may be a case per case basis kinda thing
Great review Dan. But Mattel is really starting to piss me off with the lack of quality control on this $20 toyline. I still have my original 25 year old childhood vintage Grizzlor and that does not have a shedding problem... WTF Mattel.
I somewhat regret my choice to pass on getting one of these 5 or 6 years ago when they came out at a normal-price, because now you won't really be able to find them -minus any steep, expensive-price now
I usually love the 200x redesigns but I feel Grizzlor looks better in the original design as a beast, the 200x is too humanized for my taste, getting lots of weapon is cool but again I dont feel like it fits him, should be someone ripping people with his bare hands.
i absolutely HATE his caption..."ferocious figure with fur"??...so lame... how about ferocious fury horde henchman?? come on SCOTT...al lil more thought PLEASE
