Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour started in Miami and ended in London with the Pulse concert, which was actually 14 nights at Earls Court in London. Yes, 14 concerts in London in just 17 days.
Phil Church here and being 64 I grew up with Pink Floyd and love their music and the best way to listen to Pink Floyd is with headphones and your favorite chair ... chill and enjoy
@@21darkster I was at day 1 of their back to back Detroit concerts. Unfortunately, they didn't have the plane ready to go for us. But reports were that it was set up for Day 2. For that matter, it was on Day 2 that they first played the entirety of Dark Side of the Moon (they only played most of it for most of the Pulse tour). Despite all this, still an insanely amazing experience.
For the Pulse tour Guy Pratt played fretted 5-string and fretless 4-string Status headless basses. The tuning pegs are below the bridge at the end of the bass body. Think of them as being strung upside down.
Main parts of the guitar are the body, neck and headstock (the part with the "tuning pegs"). It's all a learning curve and your in great hands with these subs. We won't steer you wrong!
Hey man. Another great reaction. But at the start you said that there are still a couple of songs you haven't reacted to yet. But there quite a few. Pulse is a double DVD set. The second DVD is the complete 'Dark Side Of The Moon' sound track in its entirety from start to finish. It is the only time Pink Floyd ever played all the songs together. It is an absolute must to listen to. Just as F.D. suggested down below. Dive into that one man. Cheers.
The bass instrument sounds like a headless design Steinberger. I have seen Gilmour play similar type of guitars. They have a direct-pull tuning system.
The song came out in 1987 and the concert in 1994. I love how the new generations are enjoying the music a lot of us remember from when we were much younger.
One of my favorite PF songs! It feels like freedom. What I would give to have been at a PF concert. Sigh. Grateful for all the amazing concert footage available.
You're a busy man this month Nyco! Making up for lost days over the holiday season (during which your lack of visibility was worrying me into thinking yo'd given up!) Pulse is a veritable treasure trove, as you now know. Can I suggest you do the Dark Side of The Moon section in it's entirety? Great to see you pumping out the reactions bro!
Ah, your channel's name change almost had me deleteing without checking first. His voice is a bit rough here, maybe later in the concert? Still a great performance, though 😎 Oh, and that was one heck of a drum kit!
Sure Gilmore, Mason (somewhere) and Rick Wright are here but this portion of Pink Floyd is just a poor facsimile. I know those hanging on to the threads will disagree. Keep hanging on. I'll take Syd and Roger with the band over this, anyday. You have to remember, at this point, the name Pink Floyd was an institution. A money machine (Come in here dear boy....). Trying to capture and capitalize on what was long gone. Still, glad you enjoyed it for what it's worth.
