I use the hip belt straps to compress the 28 to help put it in the bag

I liked the old version of the Beast28 way better. I think I'll be getting it bevor It's nowhere to be found anymore.

great review perfect for my making decision between these two bags...one question: will it work for any torso length...I am 20" from neck to hip...6' tall 180. I rely on hip belt to carry heavy camera gear.
