Matar Paneer is a popular Indian dish consisting of peas and paneer in a tomato-based sauce, spiced with garam masala. In most Indian homes it is made during winters when fresh peas are in season. However, it can also be made with frozen peas at any time of the year. Let's try this with a little twist of restaurant-style and it is yummy.

Ingredients -
Oil - 4 tbsp
Black cardamom - 1no
Black pepper - 10 no
Cloves - 4nos
Cumin - 1 tsp
Garlic chopped - ¾ tbsp
Ginger chopped - ¾ tbsp
Onion chopped - 1 cup
Turmeric - ½ tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Water - a dash
Tomato chopped - 2 cups
Salt - to taste
Water - 2 cups
Dried methi leaves to powder - a pinch
For peas -
Butter - 2 tbsp
Green peas - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Green chilli - 1no
For paneer -
Oil - 1 tbsp
Paneer cubes - 1½ cups

I have tried various preparations of mutter paneer so far but never before was it so perfect so yummy and so tasty... Your recipe for mutter paneer was enjoyed by all in my family and that gave me tremendous satisfaction... Also the paneer I prepared as per your guidelines for the dish was lauded by all in the house.. Everybody at our house endorsed the decision of not to bring paneer from market ever but prepare at home as per Chef Kunal sir's instructions available on RU-vid.. Thanks Chef Kunal sir..

i've never cooked this before but i am positively addicted to it from a takeout place here in Madison. i'm surprised at how easy it looks to cook it but Indian curry does not agree with my wife's belly so it's easier for me to get takeout since only I will eat it.
