One of the funniest episodes I’ve ever seen I’m a housewife Gene: no kidding !😂😂 Richard: please mom I promise I’ll never do anything wrong again if you just let me get this one right 😂😂
I looked up Barbara McNair because she looked familiar (I didn’t even know she was a singer) and found out she was in one of my top 20 fav movies, “Change Of Habit” in 1969. She was one of the nuns.
H/H match update: ... Another day, another new champion. Yesterday we saw how she could take Alex Karras to the (wrestling) mat, and today we'll see how she grapples with the super match. She calls on Alex first for the audience match suggestion, and (wisely) selects his answer (the other two celebrity answers weren't even on the board). She goes to Alex who kisses her hand, and when she returns to Gene, she says she wanted to kiss Alex, so Gene lets her go back and get a real kiss. And then for the head-to-head match, she chooses... Richard! Today's question: "Go for ______ " Sounds easy. Broke, no? (Go for it?) Richard wrote right away and confidently slipped his answer into the slot. The contestant wasted no time: "Broke." ...and Richard earns his 124th H/H match. Quick recap: Richard has now played 24 of the past 31 H/H matches, and matched 10 of them. Brett played 4, matching 1. Of the three remaining attempts, Fannie matched one, Betty missed one, and Sheldon Leonard missed one. Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Fannie - 52.6% (10 wins in 19 attempts). Betty - 46.9% (15 wins in 32 attempts). Charles - 45.2% (19 wins in 42 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 39.2% (124 wins in 316 attempts). Brett - 38.0% (19 wins in 50 attempts). Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 574, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")

Who could forget the iconic Graham Kennedy as the host in the Aussie version along with Stewart Wagstaff, Noel Ferrier, Noeline Brown and Ugly Dave Gray?
He was the worst with Nipsey Russell. Made me lower my opinion of him (Gene), along with seeing he was a bit depraved and narcissistic. Still, he was very talented.
