They were both pretty bad, but she was a lot worse. Knew he was gonna blow the big money he was so bad. Only answer that popped into my head was "Ship of fools".
For the question about what was sticking out on the groom they cut out the answer when Brett asked "What's that thing men wear when they dress up fancy?" and Gene said "Oh the thing they wear when they wear white tie and tails?" Someone (maybe Gene) might have said "Dickie" cause that's what they wear, and its a double-entendre of the answer everyone really wanted to say. But that answer was cut.
By this point in the show's history, Gene was getting a little embarrassed by the low dollars that were being awarded, I think. The contestant made it all the way through but flubbed the last question and only won $750. The nighttime version of Pyramid was giving away $25,000 by this time. Match Game was much more entertaining, though.
