I remember Jimmy Carter. On the question about "Voting for Jimmy Carter for a second term would be like buying a ticket for a ___________" - A MERRY-GO-ROUND, spinning around in circles and getting NOWHERE!!!
Some what slow week this week but Jim Staahl sneak in at the last moment to win the week giving away 20,000 dollars in a head to head match for the semi regulars. Fannie won the week with 5 matches and gave away 250 dollars in audience match for the semi regulars. Brett won for the regulars with gave away 5,000 dollars in a head to head match with 11 matches. Bart gave away 1,000 dollars in audience match matches. Jamie, Marcia and Ronny each gave away 500 dollars a piece in audience match matches. Charles gave away 250 dollars in an audience match match.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?... I watch Match Game all the time and I seen for the first time the other evening, a LIVE CHAT going on when the game was playing. It was fun, I haven't seen a chat room for 20 years. :)
Celebs were WAY out of control this game. They kept talking over Gene, and the 2 Bozos were hogging so much screen and mike time Gene had to short-change the lower level twice with their answers. OBVIOUSLY they are allowed to get away with it, but still... damn
Dr. Frankenstein really likes me. For Valentine's Day, he gave me a heart. He got it from his own WIFE. (1 match) Ruth ate so much chocolate when she was pregnant, she just gave birth to a 10-pound CHOCOLATE BAR. (Bzzt! Do they match specifics to generals? I won't give me the three matches, but they should.) I just visited the Egyptian desert, and was it horrible! Every meal they gave me the same thing. A SAND sandwich. (Bzzt! I really couldn't think of anything. Amazingly, according to Google, camel meat is actually kind of good.) I hate it when customers complain. Last night this guy said his knife was so dull it wouldn't cut anything. I showed him. I took that knife and cut off his TIE. (2 matches out of 4) I got good news and bad news. The good news is your new car is under $2000. The bad news is it's also under WATER. (3 matches out of 3. The contestant blew that one.) Electing Jimmy Carter again would be like buying a ticket for a trip on the TITANIC. (4 matches out of 4. And this contestant REALLY blew it.) WASHINGTON Monument ($500 match. And it's the Lincoln Memorial, people.) GEORGE Harrison ($250 match) Bale of HAY (DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!)
I know; I caught on to everyone quite a while ago. You guys just say stuff like that to either get a "like" or cause you need friends (but if you've been reading these comments, even on the regular Match Game, you'd know that Brett was liked by most of the people here)
@@KristaBrewer-rq7mo Oh please!! You obviously haven't seen very many episodes of Match Game. Brett was simply a horrible person. Always insulting to the attractive women on the panel. Brett had a dumb line "you tell em, fat lady!" - what the hell does that mean? She even belittled Richard Paul about his weight on one show. Gene called her out on it.
@@vitodanelli As I said, facts speak for themselves and if you've been reading all the comments, Brett was loved by most of the people on here (by the way, it's called ACTING)
@@KristaBrewer-rq7mo ha ha ha!! "ACTING" you call it?!? I call it RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS BEHAVIOR. It seems defending Brett is a personal thing for you. Why? I enjoy watching Match Game reruns. Whenever Brett talks, I immediately press the Mute button on the remote. Now you don't consider calling Richard Paul fat to be rude and obnoxious behavior? Even Gene called out Brett on that one.
@@vitodanelli I have no intentions of keep this conversation going. I was actually in the middle of doing a Bible Study when I saw this, so yes, I responded. But this WILL be my last post. Do you even READ the comments. Granted there ARE more people who love Brett on the regular game. But yes, MANY people have called it acting. Match Game is a show for me (and not even my FAVORITE show. I like Brett, but not to the point of making it a "personal thing" as you put it. I didn't see the episode where Brett called Richard Paul fat, but even so, if you understood her ACTING, then you know it wasn't rude. It may have come OUT that way, but again, it's called acting! She likes to call people fat lady" too, but everybody knows that's all in fun. I don't know why you would wanna take my word for it anyway; all you have to do is go back to the regular show and read the comments to know that most people like her
