Yea, but I wonder what happen after 1975, the audience didn't seem to screamed loud after, maybe during 1976 but then it got quieter for some reason as the seasons went on..The first 3 or 4 seemed to be the loudest, change in fans coming to the studio?
Give it another few years, Wheel of Fortune would probably be the $500 answer. I know the phrase existed long before the game show, which was in its infancy when this was filmed, but that's definitely the answer most people think of first today.
Gene's so darn silly, there's NOBODY like him today. Today's tv shows STINK and are so forced. = not funny, or entertaining, just a waste of time. Match Game rocks! (rocked)
After giving match game 90 a shot I quite agree with you, I was so looking forward to binge watching those episodes but the panelists with the exception of Brad Garrett were absolutely awful, nothing against the emcee however

I know. That drove me NUTS!!!! I got so DISGUSTED with everyone here picking on Brett for doing that, but with Saint Richard it's ALWAYS ok (even though he did it WAAAAAY more).
