Horse race til the end today and we have a tie! Joyce, and matched 9 times as well, and Gary, and matched 8 times, both gave away 10,000 dollars in head to head matches for the semi regulars! ;0) Susan gave away 6,000 dollars in head to head and audience match matches. Brett gave away 1,250 dollars in audience match matches and Richard gave away 250 dollars in audience match match.. Almost everyone gave away something this week.. ;0) That also puts Joyce in the lead for most money given away this season so far.. ;0)

After hearing the question about Quincy; (which Brett never said anything; good on her), but for some reason, this question came to mind. Was Brett and Jack still friends when he appeared on the later episodes of Match Game? I mean, if they weren't, why would they have him on there?

Brett managed to NOT make a comment during the Quincy question segment. I am so proud of her. Hey, they gave a ton of money away this week.

This episode was taped on June 14, 1980. My dog has bad eyes. Today he mistook my leg for a FIRE HYDRANT. (3 matches, plus contestant) LOVE letters ($500 match) Mid-NIGHT (DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING!) Something crazy has happened to my television set. I can see Quincy and The Wonderful World o Disney at the same time. It's strange. Quincy is performing an autopsy on MICKEY MOUSE. (5 matches, plus contestant) I just saw the strangest car in the world. It didn't have hubcaps on the wheels. It had BASEBALL caps. (1 match) I'll never go back to the Godfather's massage parlor again. It's too painful. They massage you with a KNIFE. (Bzzt!) A strange thing happened when I put gasohol in my car. Instead of backfiring, it BELCHED. (2 matches) BringING UP BABY (Bzzt!) BUNK beds (Bzzt!) (Arlene Francis would have been much better than Brett. Hell, anyone would have been much better than the old hag. My pick would have been Fannie Flagg. At least she's funny.)
