Discover the tone of your tinnitus with greater precision in this enhanced version of our popular frequency sweep video. This video, based on your helpful feedback, now features a digital indicator for each tone, aiding you in accurately pinpointing the pitch of your tinnitus.
Before we start, please ensure you're in a quiet room with your headphones on or a good set of speakers. Remember, keep the volume in check as your hearing levels may perceive different tones at varying volumes. Once you've matched your tinnitus to the tones, please share your findings in the comments section, we'd love to know.

14,345. Had vertigo episode with loose otoconia last year in right ear only. Had 2nd episode happen recently, but this time with tinnitus remaining. Onset by physical exercise, jogging, while hearing clicking noises in ear (the otoconia loose and bouncing around). Hoping it clears up. Trying Epley Maneuver but sure would like to know what ear drops are recommended if any.

Honestly I didn't believe it! I truly didn't believe that my tinnitus, which I have suffered from since I was 20 years old, could essentially vanish but when it got to 13,000htz on up to 20k I actually heard SILENCE for the 1st time since my tinnitus began. Holy crap. It's crazy. Thank you for making this video. I am going to look into this as a possible treatment now because of you and I appreciate it so much.

SLOW THE FREQUENCY CHANG RATE DOWN TO A CONSTANT CHANGE RATE ACROSS THE ENTIRE SOUND SPECTRUM!!!! My ears seem to match around 8 Khz, but I noticed that at the lower frequencies, the tone change from one frequency to the next is very slow, so much easier to pinpoint the exact frequency matching one's ear Tinnitus. As the frequency moves up, so does the speed. Around the 6 Khz and above levels, the frequency is changing so fast that its nearly impossible to zero in on the exact harmonic frequency. Perhaps recreate the video and move up through the frequencies at the EXACT SAME SPEED across the entire sound spectrum. Yes, it make take a 5 - 10 minutes to do this, but it will definitely help those with high frequency tinnitus to zero in on their exact matching frequency. Thanks for doing this.

go to settings and change the playback rate to less than 1. That should help.
@AdMBandLeader
@AdMBandLeader 2 месяца назад
@@mtmaniacs That won't work well since it'll proportionately decrease the rate of frequency changes throughout the whole spectrum from 20hz to 20khz. Which would mean it'll be a slower change than desired in the lowest frequency range and then. The op is asking for a uniform rate of change of the frequencies throughout the whole spectrum.

Very interesting. While it was a little difficult to get a perfect match because my tinnitus has a slight modulation to it and your frequencies were more steady. I was surprised by what I could not hear. At about 95 Hz, the sound faded away and I heard nothing until it came back at about 125 Hz. What surprised me most was that the closest frequency to my tinnitus was about 5800 Hz, but at about 6100 Hz, all sound faded away and I could hear nothing after. It was interesting to find that my tinnitus was so close to my hearing threshold of the upper frequencies.

After a while he will get used to hearing it and it won't stress him out anymore. He will be fine. Just tell him to relax.he will not hear it after a while. Trust me it bothered me two years and i thought to myself my lord how am I gonna get through life with this noise 24/7. Now I don't hear most of the time and if I notice it I forget about it with no emotion. Now looking back I'm like wow I actually thought I would never recover. But I did! If you cannot hear a tone, resist the temptation to increase the volume! Why? Pure tones are very dangerous, more dangerous than normal noise. At high or full volume, permanent hearing damage with permanent tinnitus can occur within a few seconds. There are said to be people who have caught permanent tinnitus from such tones. You can easily get an acoustic trauma from these tones! This is not something to be trifled with! Please be careful!

Different in each ear I can tell when it's matched on several very high levels as my tinnitus is multiple tones not just one tone.

and by me it's always in stereo at same left right level...but its not just a wave, it's an ensemble of wave plus brown noise but in very high frequencies though at low volume....

my right is has louder tinnitus (I also suffer from hearing loss in this ear). Right ear tone is 3500Hz. I have some in my left ear but it' lower and I had a hard time with it because the right just powers over it. HOWEVER, with earphones over both ears, I could swear it was 6600Hz???

Question: When I can't hear my ears themselves against this, then that is my frequency?

Around 2000 Hz ? Both ears the same. That seemed to cancel it out. Can't hear anything past 9300 Hz.

Mine is more like a constant white noise in my left ear, that does not match any particular frequency.

Listening to this cures my tinnitus! I was trying to match the frequency, pressing pause and play over again. And all of a sudden at around 15,000, if I play it and then pause it, my tinnitus disappears! Then a minute later it gradually comes back. Does this happen for anyone else? I've only had tinnitus for 3 weeks and got at due to taking viagra 😬 The frequency of the tinnitus seems to be above 19,000

Listening via streaming through my KS10's, I could not really get my tinnitus frequency from your video except that it must be above 5 kHz but it did illustrate my ear-computer-BT-aids system frequency response. I could not hear the lower or higher tones but above ~400 Hz, it got quite loud until ~6500 Hz and I could perceive beating frequencies at several points in the video.

,1,352hz thank you so much. Just went to the Audiologist yesterday And, outside of hearing loss across the board I was formally diagnosed. with Tinnitus. Now I can tell the audiologist even more. This, this is great. Hope every ones doing well.

10,000 and 13,000 and at 18.000 i hardly heard anything in the video, so i guess It is something between those. I was told I have a minor hearing loss but I can't remember what frequancy it was as it was a year ago and the audiolog said it is not important.....

Can hear from 115 Hz to 12.5 kHz, where my right ear tinnitus then starts matching with the tone and then disappears at around 16 kHz, where my ear is no longer tugging at the cheek muscles.

This test's frequency response has upper limit at 12kHz, some others 16kHz. They are only useful for severe cases of hearing loss.
@billstanton8055
@billstanton8055 6 месяцев назад
Did you just not even watch it? The upper limit is 20kHz. And not being to hear past 12kHz wouldn't be 'severe hearing loss', especially for people over 45 or so.

tonal tone 5-6kHz. I even didn't hear your 14kHz tinnitus :(
