Matchbox twenty will go down in history;not only as my favorite band in the world but a band that most surely ( collectively ) has seen more than teir share of heartache and pain. Their music and lyrics have a way of driving themselves into ones soul. While giving one courage to continue on. God bless all of them and may they continue for many many more years. Thank you all!
I’m from Florida and one time I was going home with the guy and decided that I didn’t wanna do that I stopped at a gas station ask him to go in and get me a Coke and then I left him there. Totally relatable
@anaddi15 I can listen to this song over and over and I never get sick of it. I was talking to my sister about it and she said the same thing. I love the part where he says< " Just 3 miles from the rest stop and my mouth's too dry to rage!" It's like he's speechless....I had something like that happen to me once...
I bet she cares now I wonder what regrets come to her mind now Dumping the greatest singer , songwriter , live performer that ever lived , along with the decent man he grew into ? A True Genius .
@moniqjenks Me too I have all of Matchbox 20's music on my Ipod but I always seem to go to this song first....the lyrics to all of their songs are great.
I had a girlfriend that left me for a man off the internet. She packed up moved to the west coast. I was broken over her taking her son which I had great affection for, and she came back to see me, and purposely played this song in her car. Ending wasn't good-he was popped in an internet sting for trying to do illegal things. Oh I am listening!
