@@buildingtheultimatematchbo257 It take some time here. The local stores still have the old mix from the beginning of the year which is kind of ridiculous.🙄
Oh....Even though its a diecast model "Morris Minor" the one with the left hand drive could be an exported one to America and steering wheel while in the States was switched from the right to the left. or the Morris was exported to Europe ..Like France Germany or Holland..More likely exported to France as France is the nearest country to Britain
I was lucky found 4 unopened boxes no chase 2 boxes had the Volvos only 1morris minor per box had 2 Indiana Jones cars per box been collecting matchbox car's for 40years still love this brand 👍 great video Cheers Stephen 🍀✌️👍👍
Some nice castings. That Morris minor coupe looks great. In Canada we are behind in the releases. With time these will come here. I wish the Auburn was in a plain packaging rather then in the movie packaging. I am glad the land Rover finally gets clear window to show off the nice interior.
Good point on the Land Rover, Steve. I’m not quite used to the fully clear design but like many new things in the Matchbox way of doing things, I’ll be fine with it in time 😆
I found the Indiana Jones casing just recently. A few notes about as far as I can tell. First off the car in real life is a two seater. The movie Auburn is a four seater. Mainly for a setup chase. The top is also a setup of sorts acting as a drop stunt when Indy and another character drop into the car. I cannot see this being used in another form seeing there is Copyright LFL on the base. The design of the top and the interior make it a Lucas film design car. Time will tell if it gets a reuse at some point.
This case would have to be the best so far this year. 23 different models in one case although 12 carry overs. The front of the Porsche 911 GT3 box shows the 70 year Matchbox logo and the Porsche 75 year logo. Matchbox celebrates 70 years and Porsche celebrates 75 years. A Fitting Tribute.
@@buildingtheultimatematchbo257 lucky lucky! I'm in the UK and can't find the Volvo Mazda batch for love nor money. I know a place to wholesale buy Hot Wheels cases but not these. Weirdly matchbox is harder to get hold of in the UK
Hi Tyrone, maybe you can help us out? We are frustrated about the fact that we can only buy those powergraps in1 store here in Belgium. Not 1 store, but it's a chain of stores located in a lot of towns. We can only find them there at random times, and when sold out nobody knows when the next mix is coming. We really want to collect them all 100 (or more with the variants and un-numbered ones), we already have about 60 now (2023). Maybe you can tell us how and where we can order those 24-car-boxes like you always show in your videos? The store where we buy those seperate powergraps, because they throw away the big box, this year only had 3 or 4 different mixes until now. I have visited 5 stores in 5 different towns, and in every store it's the same mix available. Thx.
That’s a highly frustrating situation for the avid collector, P47 Thunderbolt. Here in Perth, Western Australia, we have a constant supply of Power Grabs but there is still plenty of driving around to get all of cars I show in my videos. Luckily the two supermarket chains that stock them display them with the outer box. Similar to your situation though, nobody knows when each mix will turn up. Some cars like the Holden are so popular that I have to buy it on eBay at a higher price so that I can show a complete bow though this time I was lucky enough to find everything in the wild.
Pronounce words in whichever way you’re comfortable, the world will adapt. There is no “right” or “wrong” way, only right or left! Speak as you were raised to speak, it’s part of the charm of your presentation. I remember my first time in Oz, I told a girl I drove a Toyota “Cell-uh-kuh”, she laughed and said “You mean a ‘Cuh-LEE-kuh’?!?”
Are you Australian or what? Anywho ?? Aussies have always pronounced it ANY "HOW" could you Imagine Paul Hogan saying - ANY"WHO" Have a WInfield!!! Marzda??? Its Mazda mate. I do agree with you on the clear roof on the Land Rover Defender, looks stupid!
