I have a very clear memory of nagging my parents that I wanted this particular toy. It must have been 1972/73 and the truck itself was red and the trailer was yellow , it had three tractors and they were in blue . Thanks for taking me back to a part of my childhood - brilliant.

I love that semi as a kid. Mine had red tractor and trailer. 3 blue tractors. The green tractor pulled a low boy trailer with a red case dozer with a yellow removable cab on it. Excellent that brought back memories. I can’t fine the Bedford tractors but I have the trailers, the Ford tractors and the Case dozer. Thanks for sharing

The attention to detail is just amazing -- both with the complex toy (with so many pieces) but even recreating the original box.

Fabulous work, on the Ford articulated lorry the Tractor's looked like had never been touched from the factory or played with at all, the box was a work of art better you than me doing that. Wonderful to see it thank you.👍👍🥂

My goodness! Memories. I was staying with my grandparents who lived in Shoreham by Sea and my Nan took me either to Brighton or Worthing and bought me this. I seem to remember there was something wrong with it and we had to go back to change it. I remember the tractors as the load.

Another fantastic restoration Paul! I hope you will someday restore a "Matchbox Super Kings K76 Volvo 245 DL Rally Support Vehicle". It would be amazing, It was one of the ones I wanted when I was a kid, but never got one.

whoever supplied you with the base model,sent you the cab from K17 low loader.K20 never appeared in green,only the later superking wheeled version used a color called florentine.It is a nice resto having said that.

I've never owned this one, nor seen it covered in a video before. I love that you do your own wheels and windscreens when you need to. You're so good at things like that!

Only caught up with this one today.Nice resto,but one small error,K20's only ever came with a red cab!This is obviously a composite model,the cab being from K17 the low Loader and bulldozer,the trailer is a K20 though.

Great resto Paul, on both the truck 𝑎𝑛𝑑 the box. I always wanted one of these as a kid but I didn't have many King Size vehicles. The car transporter was one of my prized possessions and this one would have looked great beside it.
