This Mack truck was another one of those models that had been buried for most of it's life. It was found in the garden of Dean Beedel, who lives in Norfolk, whilst he was digging up a rats nest. He thought that I would like it as a challenge. We arranged to meet up and have a pint whilst I was in England visiting friends. He told me the story that it belonged to a kid he knew when he was young called Rupert Lamb. Rupert used to live at Deans house when he was a boy and had been there for forty years. It is assumed that this truck had been buried for possibly 30 years!!
This could be my greatest achievement or my biggest failure. You be the judge and let me know in the comments! Hope you learn some new stuff! It's not all about the destination but more about the journey getting there!!!

I am a long time matchbox collector (over 55 yrs) and watching this may have given me something to do as I retire with my love of matchbox toys other that just to collect them . Thank you for the great detail and in depth explanation. Great enjoyment. Joe

MAH-tee........... Do you know why we love to watch these videos? Because they are soooooo satisfying. After all of the destruction, smashing, ripping apart, and throwing things away in the trash, it is just satisfying to watch someone take what is nearly destroyed and make it like new again. oh, thank YOU , our "MAH-tee"!

Marty, Hello from Lewisburg, Tennessee, USA. I watch your show with my 3 year old son we are both thoroughly entertained and love your projects! I must say this particular project impressed me as when you started trying to rebuild the ladder with JB Weld I was thinking there is NO WAY this is going to come out good. I was WRONG! Bravo! Your techniques and skill with them may be unorthodox, but are impressive none the less!
