Another nice restoration. There are almost certainly more Matchbox models left than examples of the real car. They rusted away very quickly!

I do like the old Vauxhalls my old man had a Vauxhall Cresta - so many years and memories ago.

Superb! Excellent paint: smooth and glossy finish. I remember seeing a mint boxed red example on Ebay. Seller wanted a fortune for it. I wonder if they got the asking price? Simple Vintage Matchbox - 8 parts. Compare with the king size Dodge Twin Tipper - more than 80 parts!

Eine sehr schöne Restauration, dieses eher einfach ausgeführten Modells. Von einem sehr mitgenommenen Altfahrzeug wieder in den Zustand eines Neuwagens versetzt! Sehr gute Arbeit an diesem Vauxhall. Went for the expensive version. That'll be the only way I'll get one, is to make one. I go to alot of toy auctions and toy shows and I have never seen one. It was hard to tell but I think yours didn't have the BRACE that they put under the hood/windshield area, to strengthen the casting. If so yours is a very early one, before they added the Brace.
