Everyone always is confused when they ask who’s one of the best live acts I’ve seen and I answer Matchbox Twenty these guys are tighter than a frogs arse live cannot recommend seeing them enough they’re just brilliant.
Seen them 2 times now, best live show ever, and I have seen every big act last 30 yrs. Top 5 5. Pink 4. Garth Brooks 3. Whitesnake 2. Tim Mcgraw 1. MB20 2.
Thanks for filming this, I felt like I was really there. This is amazing concert as always. I would of loved to see both GGD and MB20 together. Both of my 2 favorite bands of all time. I love them so much
Oh my.. thank you so much for posting this. I was at their Brisbane show last night. Rob and MB20 were crazy amazing live - sounded exactly like their records! Yesterday I got reminded why I had a huge crush on Rob when I was in HS. 😂
I’ve seen over 1000’s concerts in my time ! Top 5 shows I’ve ever seen ! Rob Thomas sounds better than ever & goo goo dolls have way more than 2 songs 💥🤘🏼
Highly agree with you, I’ve been lucky to see him solo and with matchbox twenty and I absolutely love seeing them live. There was so much more I wanted to film, including more of The Goo Goo dolls but I was worried about battery and also just wanted to live in the moment alittle haha! Both bands were amazing
Goo Goo Dolls I will always remember Paul in Soho when I mentioned my favorite all time bands the goo goo dolls were on my top five And MB20 is has been and probably always will be my all time favorite
I don’t mean to be rude have u seen u2 they are the best band on the planet just got back from Las Vegas but respect to matchbox 20 they are a really great band greetings from manly australia
Seen both, U2 is good, but his range is goneeeee, no comparison Rob Thomas way better than Bono,,,, only band right now that compares is The Killers, they are unreal in concert
Chill mate. It might not be your cup of tea, but if you want to go to the numbers they have the success and the records to back them up. Much more than some other big rock bands of your liking
@@rudvs again. I don’t mean to be confrontational. But you have to accept that they not being of your liking has nothing to do with their success. Nobody is claiming they are the biggest act of the last 50 years. But up until recently their success of that one-hit-wonder was still the record holder of airplay and streaming to this day. The success of that song is enough to eclipse many career bands that spend their whole lives putting out records and touring the world. That’s how big of a success that one song was. Iris. If you ask people that like them. The follow up records were just as good. Dizzy up the girl. And GutterFlower are albums where you don’t skip a song. Each one is 👌. Even the album A boy named goo, has great tracks other than Name. In between Iris. Name. Black Balloon. And Slide. There is enough success to sit back and retire with an amazing life. From their Wikipedia page…. In October 2012, "Iris" was ranked number one on Billboard's "Top 100 Pop Songs 1992-2012" chart, which ranked the top songs of the first 20 years of the Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs chart. The list also featured the Goo Goo Dolls' hits "Slide", ranking at number nine, and "Name" at number 24. The Goo Goo Dolls are the only musicians to have three songs on the list, two breaking the top 10 and all three falling within the top 25. They are also the only musicians that have back to back singles (Iris, 1998 and Slide, 1999) featured on the list.[18] In a revised list in October 2017, "Iris" still ranked in the top 10, at number eight.[19]
@@rudvs just chill dude. You don’t like them and that’s ok too. You don’t have to like them. But not liking them doesn’t mean you have to poo on their success. Don’t be that petty.
