I just bought this backpack for an upcoming trip and it's a little different than the one shown. No side pocket but an extra one in the front. Which is fine. So far the one thing I'm not happy about is the black interior. It's like looking into a black hole. I wash manufacturers would use a lighter color. We'll see how I like it when I get back in August.

They might’ve changed the style a bit since I purchased mine? I never really thought about the black interior as being a problem, hopefully it won’t be too much of a hassle for you. Have you had a chance yet to see how stain resistant it is? I'm looking for a backpack for myself for travel. I usually wear an over the shoulder, but I want a two shoulder bag for hiking.
