Excited to have a whole summer ahead with time now (finally!) to get cleaning & organizing accomplished! HOWEVER -- I am beyond frustrated with all the work (and time) that is going to go into this to truly execute these goals. Enough of me hiding my mess, come & see the real thing!

My current goals are: keeping up with my garden and flower beds, finish reorganizing my basement/update kids clothes sizes and DONATE, and prepping next years lessons and those that I’ll be leading in our homeschool co op next year. I also prioritize RELATIONSHIPS!!! My kids will not be with me FOREVER. Time with them is PRECIOUS. I will eventually have all of the time in the world to organize and minimalize.😆 I find small pockets of time (I’m talking 10-15 minutes) to clear an area out or clean something. I LOVE the book: Atomic Habits. A 1% trajectory can have a massive impact overtime! I keep reminding myself of this and keep showing up as a mom, doing the best I can with the time I’ve been given. I’ll often start my day in prayer for wisdom how best to prioritize as I go throughout each day!❤

I love everything you wrote about! 💜 And agree with you 100% definitely relationships are number one and our kids will grow up before we know it so time with them is always going to be top priority. I've tackled a bit of my homeschooling space so I'm excited about being consistent about it. I'm tackling it in the mornings mainly to make sure it gets done! 🌻

I always attempt to try and get a little bit of organizing & cleaning done in the morning, the morning for sure is going to be the best time to get things done around here. Because in the afternoon I just get too tired to do that kind of work around the house. 😄

I had to switch out the girls' clothes recently. It took all day of laundry, but now I have some empty bins in the garage to pack up homeschooling supplies. That's my next project...pack up last year to make room for our new curriculum.

Yes! Every time I go through my kids’ clothing I’m rewarded with empty bins! And I’m always needing empty bins for filing away old school papers 😄 it is truly satisfying to get organizing done!

During winter I organized everything and I let go of the garage because summer is too hot to be too hard on myself. It's easier to keep things clean because we do everything outside. Swimming and cookouts. I also scale back schooling and save chores for Mondays and do school only T-F. Getting rid of clutter can feel like a full time job.
