Also, if you order a trailer it will come with tires that are just barely over the trailer rating. For instance a 10K lb gross trailer will come with 2750 lb rated tires. That’s just 10% margin, and that’s assuming perfect load distribution. Always worth upgrading...not just for margin...but you know...in the event you ‘accidentally ‘ overload it 😄.

Trailer tires are pretty much all ‘dubious ‘. When I ordered my trailer I had them Update from 15” to 16” tires. I figure if I get desperate I can get a truck tire. Not many options in 15”, and getting less all the time. At least your trailer has larger tires. Pretty much just throw trailer tires away every 5 years. They also tend to break down because they don’t move that often and the bottom stays wet, and contorted and breaks down. Nice channel.

Love the interpretation of the petroglyphs. Gave me a good laugh. Preston’s truck was also very cool. That’s what Chevy should have put in their trucks back in the 80’s. I had a 1983 GMC Jimmy with the 6.2 diesel and even with a turbo it was pretty much a dog.

I have two sons like Preston. They are going to save the world!

I'm not surprised the straps were loose, you shouldn't strap diagonally, but straight back one on each side front and back then if one breaks the other one doesn't pull the load sideways but straight back/forward, pretty basic but everyone seems to do it wrongly, the only time you do diagonal is with seriously large loads like a dozer or crane and then only with stout chains as they cannot stretch.

sadly, the sweatshirt isn't big enough for me. :( but I'll be ordering some other stuff.

Aren't 3 axle single wheel trailers more trouble, in general, than 2 axle trailers?
