Adding a higher value to $alpha doesn't crash SFM it makes some sort of special glow, it makes some objects look strange though, by instance if you have a simple plane from let's say blue and you add a negative alpha value or higher than 1 it looks transparent but applies the color of the model (the plane) to whatever is in front of it, you can place it in front of your camera and get a simplistic effect with just 2 colors.

I just started using SFM and your tutorials helped me get the basics of it pretty quickly, thank you so damn much Enforma Edit: after a whole year I ended up coming back to this video because I'm relearning how to use SFM after a super long time lmao

I’m still wondering about this: how do you make characters appear in a scene? Like have them appear out of thin air (animation wise) I know it’s a confusing topic but I’m having trouble on getting this down. Could you probably make a Tutorial discussing this topic?

One thing I don't get is how I actually make the characters walk.

Btw it was orange due to $phongwarptexture . Which is having a texture as a phong color

When I animate walking I lose the key frames that was used even tho it still moves and animates how can I find my key frames I lost it in graph editor?

When I put alpha into the thing it turns invisible forever and I cant undo it when I undo it it stays invisible for some reason and it never appears as an animation set...

From the start of the video when we see freddy it looks so clean because it looks like it has no lines and it makes the model look so much more clean in my opinion it makes the model look so much better
