As awful as it is that these girls were so severely neglected, it is equally as sweet and precious watching them begin to thrive. I hope their lives ended up being happy.
This was 1960. Back then the Fathers job was to earn money and only that. If he had sons, he would teach him male stuff when he got old enough. Daughters and very young sons, was not the fathers responsibility.
How do you know that the mother wasn't a drug addict or some floozy who didn't know who the father was? These days women have no accountability for our mistakes and downfalls, and are quick to place blame on fathers. Some fathers don't even know that these children exist. Some women force maternity onto the wrong man for her own selfish needs. It's a two way street
@@Unni_Havasperfect answer. And since the mother & babies were left alone in these deplorable conditions, I doubt the father/s knew of the existence of these children.
