Great explanation! Thank you. But I don't agree the last conclusion: a generation of rabbits is 2 months, so one year is 6 generations. So we'd expect after one year to have 2^7 pairs, or 256 rabbits, and that is indeed in the same order as The Fibonacci sequence predicts.

I hate this example of the fibonacci sequence. It can't even happen in real life, but good job explaining this problem.

Hi, when Fibonacci problem started with an assumption, how can his numbers related to nature? because rabbits don't litter only one pair. Please help me to understand.

I don't understand your geometric sequence ,if you doubled every month for a year the geometric sequence will be =466(2)^12

466 i believe it was 377 .
