This video really helped me understand how this is set-up. I've got a struggling student and have been considering switching. But wasn't sure how "teacher involved" it was. This looks promising!

It's a great curriculum and really helped my kiddos that struggled with math, to finally understand it.

I definitely want to try this! I'm curious how do you do, math-u-see, all about reading, and my father's world together? Do you get all the products for that particular grade? How do you incorporate it all and have enough time? I would love to see a video on how you incorporate all three together.

Great question! I actually no longer use All About reading, all though I still use the readers and Ziggy zebra games. I also use mathusee as our math so it just goes into that time slot. I would love to share our schedule with you for everything else. I will work on an updated schedule.

Thanks for the flip through! I think as homeschool moms we always love a good flip through and we have ( or I have) a healthy fear of FOMO! (Fear of missing out) 😉 😆 . We are going to try the MFW suggestion of Singapore math next year and see how that goes. I have always been curious of MUS because everyone seems to really love it. Thanks!

I totally understand FOMO, I tried too many math curriculums at one time because of that. Singapore is a great math curriculum and I have a lot of friends who use it. It just wasn't a good fit for us. Thanks for watching! 😊

We started MathUSee in Kindergarten and have always loved it too! We do it similarly. We watch the video on Monday and do the A/D pages; Tuesday, B/E; Wednesday C/F; Thursday G/Test. This way she still gets all the review. On Monday I can usually tell if it’s going to take one week or two. This year only one lesson has taken two weeks so far. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But we’re on 17 of 30, so we’ll see. I don’t feel bad having her do two because she picks the concepts up pretty easily and gets the problems done so quickly sometimes that she’s only spent like 10 minutes doin it. If and when it gets longer and more of a challenge, we’ll slow down. Thanks for the flip through! When I was researching a few years ago, there weren’t many videos on MUS. 👍🏻😊

That's a good idea to have them do 2 pages a day, I might have to start implementing that. 😊

@@HomeschoolandGrace If it’s a really hard unit I just do one page and save the rest for Summer practice. 😊

I’m so jealous of your block boxes. I think it’s been a few years now that they just send them in a cardboard box with a plastic separator inside. The handle on our broke this year. It’s our third year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think the cardboard box is the norm, this I bought from Craigslist years ago. It may still be a special buy on the Mathusee website still.
