For the setup I have at home, that I never move, and never take with me, I find extremely annoying that is extremely difficult to find any wired keyboard, I don’t need it to be wireless, it’s pointless.

I have the exact same frustration. Everywhere you look for a Mac keyboard, it's wireless.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Shopping for a WIRED board because the wifi one is trash. When your wireless goes out you can't do ANYTHING. So frustrating.

It's a "USB-A" plug, not "USB 2.0". The letters give the plug type, the number the data transfer protocol, i.e., roughly the bandwith / speed.

Ah, helpful. Though 99.9% of vendors (and customers) use these names interchangeably.

I've been reading some reviews and it seems that the keys are sometimes faulty as a single keystroke sometimes results in 2 types characters and other times in none. Does this happen to you?

Never experienced that once with my testing. In those sort of situations I always suspect someone spilled something onto the keyboard and that a blast of air will fix the problem, actually. :-)

I think I read, aren't there backlit keys which adjustable color?

You're talking about a different keyboard from Matias, I believe.

is the typing feel reliable and kind' the same feeling as the original ancient wired apple keyboards ?

It's a very nice keyboard, but it's not those big, chunky plastic keys that felt like they were made out of LEGO. Apple's had so many different keyboards I'm unsure which you reference!

@@AskDaveTaylor I think the video is fair, as you mention limitations of the product (e.g., USB-A, large size) and clarify they're not a problem for you, because whether they're a problem or not depends on the user. I got the info I needed, great video!

@@AskDaveTaylor I just ordered the RGB Wired Matias version.....just like your unit, but with backlit keys. I've been using an old school Matias with my 2014 Mac Mini for a few years, so they are a very legit outfit.
